Guess the literary character game for younger students. Literary game based on fairy tales for elementary school children. Competition "Let's go to the ball!"

Purpose: to develop curiosity and interest in reading books; enrich students' vocabulary; educate an attentive reader and a love of books, the ability to work in a team.

The game is designed for students in grades 5-6. High school students can serve as sentries and "station attendants". Students receive an advanced task: to prepare the name of the team, motto, emblem, corresponding to the theme of the event; reread the fairy tales of A.S. Pushkin, the fables of I.A. Krylov; as homework, prepare a dramatization of the fable.

Equipment: a route list for each team, puzzles, things for the Lost and Found, prizes (books)

The route sheet (made in the form of a fairy-tale map with stations marked on it) is issued to each team, taking into account the fact that they should not intersect at the same station - the game goes on simultaneously for all teams. For example, 1 team follows the route: Lost and Found - Puzzles-words - Tales of A.S. Pushkin - Puzzles-illustrations - Fables of I.A. Krylov - Numbers, 2 team: Puzzles-words - Tales of A.S. Pushkin - Puzzles - illustrations - Fables of I.A. Krylov - Figures - Lost and Found, etc.

Student fans who do not take part in the game remain in the assembly hall and perform the following tasks: prepare an illustration for the work (the task is received by the captains during the drawing of lots), answer the questions of the quiz. The points they receive are summed up with the results of the team when summing up.

The following table is attached to the itinerary:

Stations can be located in different parts of the school: in the library, in elementary school, in the literature classroom, in the sports hall, in the music class, in the assembly hall.

Near each station there is a sentry and asks each team a riddle. After the correct answer is received, the team gets to the station it needs. The correct answers are recorded by the jury members in the team route sheet.

The time spent at the stations is limited - 5 minutes.

SA Shmakov The world of childhood as a mysterious island. The inhabitants of this island know a lot, feel a lot, but they have little life experience. They acquire this experience in their activities, in games. The forms and content of games are determined by the age of children. So, in primary school age, an important place is occupied by games in which the actions of the participants and their relationships are regulated by mandatory rules. Long-term practice shows that games based on literary works are the most interesting for children, they have a rich educational and developmental potential. The purpose of such games is the formation cognitive interest to works, development creativity children, the formation of skills of collective activity, the accumulation of experience in the interaction of children and adults, the education of certain moral qualities in children. For the game, the teacher selects works from curriculum for extracurricular reading, guided by the age interests of children. Herzen wrote: “It is not enough to read books. They must be read carefully, noting and absorbing the main thing. The organizer focuses on this “main thing”. During the game, children easily remember the names of the heroes of the work, restore events in their memory, and join reading as a creative process. At the Palace of Children's and Youth Creativity. A. A. Alekseeva (DDiUT), Cherepovets, in the 1996/97 academic year, for the first time, an intellectual and creative game was held for

3 junior schoolchildren of the city "Merry Carousel". One of the stages of the game "All the Tales of Chukovsky" aroused the genuine interest of the participants. This was an incentive to continue working in this direction, that is, to develop games based on literary works. Ten years of experience has shown that school teachers are interested in developing a system of urban games for a given age. According to the results of a survey of city school teachers and deputy directors for educational work we can draw the following conclusions: games are interesting and useful for children; children began to read more and with great interest; read the works in full; family (home) reading returns, children and parents gain experience of joint creative activity in preparation and in the process of games. Every year the number of participants in city games on literary works increases. If 1530 children from 25 schools of the city took part in the years, then already in the years 1650 students from 34 schools took part. This book includes games that are successfully used by the author in the practice of children's and youth schools and schools of the city: "Magic Wheels" (for 1st grade); "All Andersen's Tales" (for grades 1); "The Secret of the Golden Key" (for 2 classes); "Adventures of Dunno" (for 2 classes); "Journey to the Emerald City" (for 3 classes); "The Extraordinary Journey of Nils" (for grades 3); "Dunno in the Sunny City" (for 3 classes). I would like to say a few words about the preparation for the game and its conduct. Organization of the game literary work includes three stages: preparatory, main, final. The preparatory stage requires special attention. First of all, the organizer needs to solve a number of issues: choose a work; come up with a name for the game; divide the game into stages; formulate tasks; determine if assistants are needed for the facilitator; invite members of the jury; arrange a room; pick up music think over how the rewarding ritual will take place, etc. The name of the game is usually consonant with the name of the work of art. For example, based on the work of V. G. Suteev "Different Wheels", a game for the 1st grade "Magic Wheels" was developed. According to the fairy tale by A. N. Tolstoy “The Golden Key or the Adventures of Pinocchio”, the game “The Secret of the Golden Key” for students in grade 2. Based on the work of A. M. Volkov “The Wizard of the Emerald City”, the game “Journey to the Emerald City” for 3rd grade students. At the heart of each stage of the game is a certain part of the work. This helps the children to be better prepared. The content of a one-stage game, and this is usually a game for first graders, includes several works of fairy tales. The number of competitive tasks depends on the age characteristics of the children. For students in grades 1-2, five to seven tasks are enough, for grades 3-4, eight to ten. The game may contain several mobile and creative contests, intellectual contests, quizzes, puzzles, crossword puzzles. Tasks for competitions are selected according to the principle from simple to complex. If for children of the 1st grade in mobile tasks they use shuttle running, a chain, they hold the simplest objects in their hands (balls, buckets, hoops), then for children of the 2nd and 3rd grades, the tasks become more complicated using running with their backs, between skittles, climbing on a bench, jumping on bouncing balls, etc. Creative tasks are formulated taking into account the knowledge and skills of children in labor training and fine arts. So, 1st grade students make an application according to a finished sample, 2nd grade students use a template, third graders make paper crafts. In any game there is an element of competition, so you need to think about different forms of evaluation. It can be bricks, stars, wheels, flowers, emeralds different sizes or "soldo", which the participants put in the "bank". Safety conditions must also be observed. Inventory used in games, USD 4 5

4 wives to be safe, hygienic and comfortable for children. Cards with pictures should be bright, colorful, texts should be printed in a font accessible to children of primary school age. Theatrical forms of games, lighting and musical decoration of the room, the appearance of literary heroes in the game who communicate with the participants, hold competitions, all this contributes to the creation of a positive emotional mood among all participants in the game. The roles of literary heroes are played by pupils and teachers of the institution. The result of the preliminary work should be the "Regulations on the game", which indicates the name of the game, goals, time of its holding, the age of the participants, clearly formulates the competitive tasks, explains the conditions and, possibly, determines the reward for the winner. The regulation is printed in the "Calendar of Mass Events for Students of General Education Schools". After the Regulations are drawn up, the work of the organizer should be directed to the practical implementation of several tasks at once. First, find future participants. Teachers-organizers, class teachers of city schools apply for participation in the game. Based on the applications, a schedule of games is drawn up. Several classes of the same parallel can take part in the game, it is possible to play the game in one class. Secondly, the organizer must take care of the premises where the game will take place. It can be an assembly or sports hall, where there are seats and enough space for mobile competitions. The decoration of the hall corresponds to the name of the game: posters with the name of the game drawn by literary characters, decorations, colorful balloons. Thirdly, the organizer must invite a competent jury to evaluate the game. To determine the winners, qualitative indicators are used (quickness, correctness of answers, accuracy, resourcefulness, etc.). Since the understanding of these categories among the jury members may be different, the main thing is to make sure that judging does not become a cause of possible conflicts and insults. There are the following rules for this: 1) do not trust refereeing in the game to one person, the number of jury members should be from three to seven people; 2) do not invite people to the jury who do not have their own experience in the activity to be evaluated; 3) do not rely on people who are personally interested in the result. Experience shows that members of the jury can sometimes be assistants to the presenter. Fourthly, the organizer of the competition must decide in advance the issue of awarding the winners. Money for holding the game and rewarding participants is allocated from budgetary or sponsorship funds. Fifth, you need to think about how to organize a debriefing, to which game participants, teachers, and parents are invited. The preparatory stage is also necessary for the participants of the game. Children read a work of art as a whole class, discuss it, do their homework, which becomes more difficult every year. It is necessary to complete drawings, make crafts, prepare an amateur performance number, make a crossword puzzle. It is very important to come up with features each team: emblem, motto, elements of clothing. Competitors should be given sufficient time to prepare. Usually, games for students in grades 3 or 4 are held in the first and second quarters (two-stage), in the third quarter for second graders (two-stage), in the fourth quarter for first graders (one-stage). Games are played according to the schedule drawn up earlier. It is possible to reward the winners immediately after the end of the game. In this case, the places are distributed among three teams. The guys determine whether they liked or disliked the game with the help of tokens that they release into any of the three boxes: “I liked it very much”, “I liked it”, “I didn’t like it very much”. Summing up and rewarding of participants can be organized specially. In the second case passes 6 7

5th concert of the best numbers of amateur performances, creative teams of the institution are invited to perform, an exhibition of drawings, crafts of children is arranged. All participants are awarded with diplomas and certificates, incentive prizes (photo albums, cakes, sets of colored paper, etc.). In addition to the presenter, literary heroes also participate in the award ceremony. The game is over, and the organizer needs to take stock: analyze the feedback from teachers and participants about the game, evaluate the feasibility of holding the game and individual competitions, note what was successful and what needs to be adjusted. The author expresses the hope that this experience will help teachers not only organize children's leisure in an interesting way, but also to some extent educate talented readers. Who was the size of a small cucumber and lived with his short friends in the Flower City? (Dunno.) 2. Who lived in the Green City? (Kids.) 3. What was the name of Syrupchik? (Sakharin Sakharinovich.) 4. What musical instruments did Dunno learn to play? (Balalaika, violin, trumpet.) 5. What street did Gunka live on? (Daisy Street.) Questions for the 2nd team: 1. What did the Shorties make boats from to swim across the river into the forest? (From birch bark.) 2. Who was the first Dunno drew? (Gunka.) 3. What did the shorties make rubber from? (From the juice of flowers that look like ficuses.) 4. What kind of spot ran across the ground behind the balloon? (Shadow from the ball.) 5. Who was the first to jump off the ball? (Znayka.) Questions to the 3rd team: 1. What was the name of the hunter with the dog? (Pulka, Bulka's dog.) 2. Who hit Dunno on the back of the head when he was walking in the field? (May beetle.) 3. What was the name of the doctor at the Littles in the Green City? (Lungwort.) 4. Why Dunno did not like to brush his teeth and wash his face with soap? (Tooth powder was not tasty, and soap always got into the eyes.) 5. What was that huge green ball lying in the middle of the street? (Watermelon.) Presenter: Well, you received the first flowers, let's return to the Flower City. We have already met Pilyulkin, Tubik, and many others. But the most famous among them was a baby named Dunno. They called him Dunno because he didn't know anything. Dressed up as a parrot, Dunno wandered around the city all day long, composing various fables and telling everyone. And why did I say that he looked like a parrot, because he wore very bright clothes. But what he looked like, we will now find out. Task 2 "DRESS THE DON'T KNOW" You need to make a costume for the Dunno out of paper and stick it on. Host: While our craftsmen are dressing Dunno, we continue to travel around the Flower City. If Dunno took up some business, then he did it the wrong way, and everything turned out to be topsy-turvy. Just Dunno did not like to work. In the Flower City there was a wonderful musician Guslya. He played various musical instruments, everyone listened to him and praised him. Dunno was envious that everyone was praising Guslya, and he said: "I also want to be a musician." “Well, study if you like it,” Guslya said. “Why should I study? I already know how, ”Dunno answered. Here we come to the next competition. Task 3 "MUSIC COMPETITION" Musical and noise instruments are heard, they offer to beat the rhythm to a familiar melody

Readers (by roles)

One day two books met

Talking among themselves.

Well, how are you doing?

One asked the other.

Oh, honey, I'm ashamed in front of the class:

My master

Covers pulled out with meat!

What about the covers ... sheets are torn out!

Of them he makes boats, rafts

And doves...

I'm afraid to fly me into the clouds!

Are your sides intact?

Your suffering is unknown to me.

I don't remember such a day

So that without washing your hands cleanly,

And look at my sheets:

You won't see ink dots on them.

I am silent about blots -

And talking about them is indecent ...

But I also teach him

Not somehow, but on ... "excellent."

Well, my "threes" barely rides

And I even got a "deuce" that week ...

There is no riddle in the fable:

They will tell you bluntly

Both books and notebooks

What kind of student are you?

I think there are no sluts among us who treat a book in the same way as one hero from this poem. So that the books we read are not offended by us, let's remember the rules for how to handle a book. ( rules are written

1. Don't tear out the sheets.

2. Do not write or draw in a book

3. Don't fold the pages. Use a bookmark.

4. Turning pages, do not wet your fingers with your tongue.

5. Don't forget to return books to the library on time.

Summarizing.

Literary quiz game "Who is smarter than everyone?"

Members:

Leader, class of players.

Preliminary preparation.

From a sheet of colored paper, squares of arbitrary size are cut. In total, several dozen such squares will be required. Each player who gave the correct answer to the host's question receives such a square as a reward. At the end of the game, the guys count the squares, and the one who scored the most of them becomes the winner of the game. Since the game consists of two parts, it would be better if the teacher stocked up with squares of two different colors - for the first and second rounds.

Note.

The proposed scenario can be used to hold not one, but two or even three events, since each of the sections of the competition contains a large reserve of game material.

Leading.

Guys, today we will spend with you fun game titled "Who is smarter than everyone", where you will have to remember some of the heroes of popular children's books - what their names were, where they lived, and what adventures they got into. Just do not rush to make boring faces. All tasks in this game will not be difficult for you at all. On the contrary, I think that you will do them with a smile. The game will go like this: I ask a question, and the one who first raises his hand and gives the correct answer at the same time will receive such a square of paper from me. And to observe who raised his hand first, and who second, and so on, will be my assistants (represents assistants). And at the end of the game, we will calculate how many squares who scored. Who can give more correct answers, he will get more squares, he will be the winner. Let's start our game with the easiest tasks.

Here is the first task.

It is necessary to supplement the name of the literary hero. For example, I say the word "woman", and you must finish - "Yaga", I say "dad", and your answer is "Carlo". And so on - is the condition of the game clear? Then let's start. For each correct answer you will receive a reward card. (Alternately names the words to which the guys should name the missing literary “pair”) .

  • Fly (sokotuha, goryukha),
  • chicken (ripple),
  • fox (sister)
  • The Little Humpbacked Horse),
  • sivka (burka),
  • Ivanushka (brother, fool),
  • uncle (Fyodor, Styopa),
  • Crocodile Gena),
  • Dr. Aibolit),
  • shark (doodle),
  • parrot (Karudo (Kesha, etc.)),
  • dog (Abba),
  • mumps (oink-oink),
  • monkey (Chi-Chi),
  • robber (Barmaley (Nightingale),
  • Karabas (Barabas),
  • king (Saltan, Peas, Dadon),
  • Ali (Baba)
  • Ilya Muromets),
  • Winnie the Pooh),
  • Christopher (Robin)
  • Tin Woodman),
  • python (Kaa),
  • tiger (Sherkhan),
  • panther (Bagheera),
  • Koschei the Deathless).

Leading.

And now - the second task.

Let's remember why we like fairy tales? Probably the fact that in fairy tales the most unusual characters can come to life and talk to us - animals, dolls, trees, flowers and even straw stuffed animals. Now you will need to remember which of the characters bore the following name.

  • Rikki-tikki-tavi (mongoose),
  • Winnie the Pooh (teddy bear),
  • Pinocchio (wooden man),
  • Moidodyr (washbasin),
  • Scarecrow (straw stuffed animal),
  • ugly duckling (swan),
  • baby (boy)
  • Gena (crocodile),
  • Marquis of Carabas
  • (son of a miller)
  • Suok (girl)
  • Pull (an unseen beast with two heads),
  • Donkey Skin (Princess)
  • Matroskin (cat).

Third stage of the game similar to the previous one, where you guessed who the named hero was. It's called "Man is not a man". And now you have to remember whether the named hero was a person or some other creature. Only this stage of the game still bears the peculiar name "Silence". You don't have to answer my question out loud. And you should only nod your head, if the hero is a man, this means that you agree that this hero is a man. And if that character is not human, you should clap your hands. Remember? If this is a person - nod your head, if not - clap your hands, be careful. So quickly remember and show conventional signs, who it:

  • Abba (not human)
  • Piglet (not human)
  • King Dadon (human)
  • mother of the girl Ellie (human),
  • Sivka-Burka (not human)
  • Mouse King (not human)
  • Signor Tomato (not human),
  • gymnast Tibul (human),
  • Ali Baba (human)
  • Ole-Lukoil (not a person),
  • Ilya Muromets (human)
  • Bagheera (not human)
  • baby Roo (not human),
  • poodle Artemon (not human),
  • Mowgli (human).

The first part of our game has come to an end. Now I ask you to count how many coupons you got. The three people with the most tickets are the leaders. They will participate in the second part of our game, where its real winner will be revealed. For their correct answers, the leaders will also receive coupons, only of a different color, so as not to confuse them with prizes for the first part of the game.

So, the second part of the game, which is called "Game with leaders".

The tasks of the second part will be similar to the tasks of the first part, only a little more difficult. And the second part, like the first, will consist of several stages.

The first stage of the game - "Residence" - guess where the heroes of different books lived:

  • Carlson (on the roof)
  • Winnie the Pooh (at the Pooh Edge),
  • uncle Fyodor (in the village of Prostokvashino),
  • Dunno (in the Flower City),
  • Moomin trolls (in the Moomin Valley),
  • Mowgli (in the jungle)
  • wizard Goodwin (in the Emerald City),
  • Nutcracker (in the city of Konfetenburg),
  • a girl named Yalo (in the Kingdom of Crooked Mirrors),
  • Pull (in Africa)
  • The Little Prince (on a star)
  • White Rabbit and Cheshire Cat (in Wonderland).

The second stage is "The Beginning of the Book".

Guess the title of the book from its beginning. You need to listen to the opening phrase from the book and remember its title.

  • “It was seven o'clock on a sultry evening in the Zion mountains when Father Wolf woke up after a day's rest” (R. Kipling, “Mowgli”).
  • “In the city of Stockholm, on the most ordinary street, in the most ordinary house, lives the most ordinary Swedish family named Svanteson.” (A. Lindgren, "The Kid and Carlson").
  • "Beyond the mountains, behind the forests,
    Beyond the wide seas
    Not in heaven, on earth
There lived an old man in a village. (P. Ershov, "Humpbacked Horse".).
  • "In the midst of the vast Kansas steppe lived a girl, Ellie." (A. Volkov, "The Wizard of the Emerald City").
  • “Once upon a time, in a town on the Mediterranean coast, there lived an old carpenter, Giuseppe, nicknamed Gray Nose.” (A. Tolstoy, "The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Pinocchio".).
  • “In one dense tropical forest there lived and there was a very funny animal. His name was Cheburashka. (E. Uspensky, "Crocodile Gena and his friends".).
  • "Short men lived in a fabulous city." (N. Nosov, "The Adventures of Dunno and His Friends").
  • “The blanket is gone.
    The sheet has flown
And a pillow like a frog
Ran away from me." (K. Chukovsky, "Moydodyr".).
  • “Some parents had a boy. His name was Uncle Fyodor. (E. Uspensky, "Uncle Fedor, a dog and a cat").
  • "Three maidens by the window
Spinning late at night." (A. S. Pushkin, “The Tale of Tsar Saptan, of his son, the glorious and powerful hero Gvidon Saltanovich and the beautiful princess of the Swan”).
  • “Once upon a time there was a doctor. He was kind." (K Chukovsky, "Doctor Aibolit"),
  • “The time of wizards is over. In all likelihood, they never existed." (Yu. Olesha, "Three fat men").
  • "Once we were walking in the yard - Alenka, Mishka and I." (V. Dragunsky, "The Enchanted Letter").
  • "Once upon a time there was a pop
Thick forehead". (A. S. Pushkin, “The Tale of the Priest and his Worker Balda”).
  • “Do you know how many months there are in a year? Twelve. And what are their names? (S. Marshak, "Twelve months").
  • “There lived an old man alone in our factory, nicknamed Kokovanya.” (P. Bazhov, "Silver Hoof").
  • “Strawberries ripened in the forest. Dad took a mug, mom took a cup, the girl Zhenya took a jug, and little Pavlik was given a saucer. (V. Kataev, "Pipe and jug").
  • “Once upon a time there lived a queen who had a son so ugly that for a long time they doubted whether he was a man.” Ch. Perrot, "Riquet with a tuft").
  • "An old man lived with his old woman
By the blue sea." (A. S. Pushkin, "The Tale of the Goldfish").
  • "There were once twenty-five tin soldiers in the world." (G.-X. Andersen, "The Steadfast Tin Soldier").

The third stage is "Kits and dogs".

Depending on which animal is among the characters in the book I have named, you will need to bark or meow, and then name this animal. Please note that in some of the books you will meet two of these animals at the same time.

  • "Kid and Carlson, who lives on the roof." (Dog Bimbo).
  • Crocodile Gena and his friends. (Dog Tobik).
  • "The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Pinocchio". (Cat Basilio and poodle Artemon).
  • Russian folk tale "Turnip" (Dog Zhuchka and cat Murka).
  • "Doctor Aibolit" (Dog Abba).
  • Russian folk tale in the processing of V. I. Dahl "The Snow Maiden" (Dog Bug).
  • "White-fronted" (Dog White-fronted).
  • "Puss in Boots" (Cat).

Now let's calculate which of the leaders scored the most cards for the correct answers, he will be the winner in our literary game.
