Barely alive, he was found by the inhabitants of one of the villages in that district. When he was taken to the hospital, his legs had to be taken away, but the pilot did not want to give up. They made him good prostheses (artificial legs) and he managed to return to the army again and fight and defeat the enemy of the Fatherland to the bitter end.
