Before starting the mission, do not forget to skimp. As usual: first aid kit and maximum ammo.

The essence of these two missions is the same, there are only some differences in the way of passing. In any case, you need to come to Roman or Little Jacob, and then chase the car.

It will lead you to the old casino building. Throw a grenade at a crowd of cars. Remove the shooters on the right on the building, on the left in the pit and those who survived the explosions. Inside the building there are a few more foot soldiers and a first aid kit on the left. There is also a passage to the stairs on the left. There are enemies and branching again. You will either have to chase Dmitry's helicopter on a motorboat, or follow Pegorino's boat along the coast. In the end, a trampoline will follow and you will be taken to the helicopter to Little Jacob. Press the spacebar to get inside and take control. They will shoot at you, but it doesn't matter. As soon as you reach the Island with the statue, a cutscene will follow. Kill the last two enemies and Dimitri/Pegorino himself. But sometimes, it happens, he gets tired of eternal battles. How can you diversify the insipid gangster life? Meeting with friends, going to entertainment venues, of course. Plus, side quests!

The game has several types of tasks that are not related to the main plot. Jacob's friend, for example, has a dozen missions to deliver a specific "goods" to different parts of the city. Eccentric sportsman Brucie and his buddy Stevie are ready to offer a job as a carjacker - the noblest occupation for Grand series Theft Auto! A mysterious voice on the phone will offer to eliminate people objectionable to someone for a fee - and even the Liberty City police are unofficially ready to accept help in the search for and destruction of dangerous bandits.

However, we will start the story after all with really "third-party" missions from the so-called "random" characters, which in fact are not random at all.

Random characters

Sometimes it happens that Niko Bellic is driving around the city, does not touch anyone and sees a blue icon on the mini-map depicting a silhouette of a person. What is it for? To the side quest that the character is ready to give out, patiently waiting for us on the side of the road.

accessible side quests become as you progress through the story, and we will find the first "random" character at the very beginning of the game - after the very first mission at cousin Roman's taxi depot. Some characters will appear only if Niko made the right choice according to the plot - for example, if we kill Ivan on the instructions of Faustin, then we will not meet him again in the game.

Many characters meet only at certain times of the day, and some of them have not one, but several tasks. If you complete one, then the next, even if it is available in the story, will appear only after a few in-game days.

Our old friend realized what a mess he was in and decided to sign up for a rehabilitation program. One of the steps of rehabilitation is to settle things with old acquaintances. When you take Brian home, he will give you five hundred dollars.

Note: claim that the third mission becomes available only after at least one police task to suppress the crime is completed. However, I managed to find Brian without the involvement of the police. If he does not appear at the indicated place, try to lie in wait for him in the evening.

Badman will become one of the "random" characters after he meets Niko under very curious circumstances.

Mohawk Avenue Police Station, The Broker

Access to this mission will open after the first task of Escuela, a fighter against street drug trafficking. Mal is the same character that Niko knocked down at the Comrades bar. Mikhail Faustina's wife, whom we will meet more than once in the plot mini-scenes, will be ready to give Niko a task after the mission "Puerto Ricans" from Manny Escuela is completed. This is the same task where we are chasing the train by car.
