You represent the group "Jackals" and your task is to get to the goal, outrunning your competitors.
This long path is divided into many local missions: come first to the finish line, destroy the required number of adversaries in time, neutralize the boss, etc. Blades, clubs, small arms, explosives and your own limbs will help you achieve this or that goal. Of course, opponents are not scumbags and will not miss the right moment to break you. Not only representatives of this or that gang drive along the tracks, but also single bikers and the police, so you will be surrounded by a real massacre all the way. The player has a certain amount of health. It is replenished by picking up one of the many bonuses scattered around the track or by killing scum. Neutralizing an enemy also restores nitro boost and rewards the player with a cash bonus. With a special kill of an adversary (for example, chopping off a head or kicking on obstacles), the reward is doubled. Upon successful completion of the next mission, you will receive a reward in the form of a cash bonus and experience, and then move on to the next task. If you fail, you also move forward, but you are penalized by 25% of your maximum health. Considering that with each next race you will be pressed more and more, such a fine is very significant.
You can spend the accumulated savings in between tasks. Each time you are offered random bonuses that take effect immediately after purchase. Among them, improving weapons, increasing health or acceleration, increasing the values of dropped bonuses, etc. Purchased upgrades are cumulative and are valid until the end of the game. Road Redemption has online play, but in my opinion, the multiplayer here is pretty mediocre. There is only one mode here - a team run from point "A" to point "B". The one who comes first, second or third earns a certain number of points for his team. These points are also earned by punishing competitors throughout the race. The team with the most points wins the round. The game continues up to three wins. Upon completion, the player progresses through the level, which contributes to the discovery of new bikes and motorcyclists, which are available separately for multiplayer.
The graphics in the game, to put it mildly, do not give away the next-genome and are more relevant for games 5 years ago, but, nevertheless, given the huge dynamics of the game, this is not very striking. Of course, one can not even talk about the realism of what is happening. Chaos, absurdity and chaos of absurdity reigns around, but it is obvious that the emphasis was certainly not on realism.
