The game event "Supremacy" will be held in two stages. The battles of the first stage will take place on four maps:

  • Lost City (two teams of 10 players).
  • "Mines" (two teams of 10 players).
  • "Sand River" (two teams of 15 players).
  • "Monte Rosa" ( two teams of 15 players).

During the second stage, battles will take place on the following maps:

  • "Lost City" (two teams of 10 players).
  • Himmelsdorf (two teams of 10 players).
  • "Karelia" (two teams of 15 players each).
  • "Monte Rosa" (two teams of 15 players each).

The second stage differs from the first not only in the set of cards, but also in the format. The fight will be fought not for one, but for four flags, which will make the battles even more intense and unpredictable.

Format

The battle takes place between two teams in a 15v15 or 10v10 format, depending on the map. The duration of the battle is 10 minutes. The game mechanics are standard. Playing in platoons and companies is allowed.

The main task is to score more victory points at the end of the battle than the opposing team. If one of the teams gains a certain maximum victory points before the end of the battle, then the victory is counted ahead of schedule.

Victory points are awarded for moving the flag to the delivery zone and destroying enemy tanks. Delivering a flag to a special zone earns your team 10/15/35/50 points depending on the map, destroying an opponent - 1 point.

Three tanks will be available to participate in the battle: AMX 50 B (P), "Object 140 (P)", T110E5 (P). Tactical and technical characteristics of these machines completely coincide with the analogues already existing in the game.

Experience and credits in the game event will be awarded for active actions in battle: detecting the enemy, inflicting damage, capturing and surrendering the flag. The amount of experience that is accrued based on the results of the battle for combat vehicles will be determined based on separate statistics for each tank.

Capture the flag is the main path to victory. To capture, you need to approach the flag at a short distance, and then move it to the delivery zone. After that, the flag returns to its original position.


The game event "Supremacy" takes place in two stages:

  • In the battles of the first stage, the flag capture point is located in the center of the map. All players of both teams can capture the flag.
  • In the second stage battles, there are four flag capture points on the map. All players of both teams can capture the flags.


In addition to Capture the Flag, one of the most significant features of Supremacy is the ability to repeatedly go into the same battle after the destruction of the tank - the so-called "garage battles". After the destruction, a context menu will be available to you to select the next combat vehicle. At the same time, only 10 seconds are given to select a new tank. A destroyed vehicle cannot be selected for 30 seconds.

You can respawn during the battle unlimited quantity once. After respawning, the tank appears with full health and ammunition, as well as equipment, the composition of which depends on the choice of the player in the Garage.

Within the map there are several points for repairing equipment and replenishing equipment. To activate these points, the player needs to drive inside the yellow circle marked on the mini-map with the corresponding icon, and wait 5 seconds without taking any damage and without leaving the circle. If the tank takes damage, the timer restarts.


After activating a repair and replenishment point, 1 minute must pass, after which this point becomes available again for this player. The inactivity time of a repair point is individual for each player, i.e. several combat vehicles, both enemy and allied, can wait for repairs inside it at the same time.

FAQ

What will happen to the crew at the end of the Supremacy game event?

The crew will end up in the Barracks, regardless of the number of empty seats. Tankers will be retrained for pumpable analogues of vehicles for the game event (Object 140, T110E5, AMX 50 B).

Is it possible to transfer your tankers to accrued tanks? Will there be penalties?

Yes, you can. Penalties for mastery of the main specialty will apply, as in the case of researchable vehicles.

What will happen to the experience earned as a result of battles in a game event?

All experience earned will be transferred to Tier I tanks of the respective nations (MC-1, T1, Renault FT).

Example: the tank's ammo load contained 32 basic and 6 premium shells. During several respawns during the battle, the player fired 65 shots with basic and 14 with premium shells. As a result of the battle, the cost of 32 basic and 6 premium shells will be deducted from the player's account.

When destroying a vehicle, the player pays the cost of a full repair, but no more than once for each tank.

Example: during the battle, "Object 140 (P)" was destroyed three times, T110E5 - four times. At the end of the battle, the player will pay for one repair for each vehicle.

Are game statistics taken into account in battles?

No, the statistics of battles within the Dominance event are not taken into account.

Will new medals/achievements related to Supremacy be available?

For a winning battle within the game event, the winners are entitled to the "Hero of Excellence" award. The medal is awarded once at the first victory.

For the delivery of one flag, 10/15/35/50/ is given - depending on the map on which the battle takes place. For the "frag" one point is given "to the piggy bank" of the team, so it is more efficient to deliver the flag.

So far, only three special tanks for Supremacy are available to players in the mode - these are AMX 50 B (P), "Object 140 (P)", T110E5 (P). These cars are similar to their counterparts from the upgrade branches, so playing in the new mode will be beneficial even for those who are thinking about whether to upgrade this or that car. The game has been waiting for new modes. Modes that will truly draw players in, that will be balanced and interesting. The developers admitted that the historical modes and the “battle of the nations” mode were failures, they were abandoned and decided to remake the concept of formats without even saying when to expect them. Here the players are bored with new products. The developers understood the importance of Supremacy, so introducing it in a hurry was not the main task, but it was more important to work out even the little things. And they did it.

The regime became successful because...

Firstly, success is that there is a balance in the mode! The feature of the new format is the absence of “imbs”, and most importantly, artillery! Yes, this entails a minus - so far there are only three cars in the mode, AMX 50 B (P), "Object 140 (P)", T110E5 (P), which were brought into the mode, but this is a "double-edged stick ". Most of the players have enough of these three units and the main thing for them is that there is no “art”! Of course, the developers promise in the future to add vehicles that are on the branches of nations to the mode, but this will take time and configuration.

Secondly, there is no need to shoot "gold" shells! What is already so tired in "random" battles is here again implemented! No, of course you can fill your tank with premium shells, but it doesn't make sense - in battles, making a frag is not as important as in regular battles. As a result, players will once again fully feel the importance of armor by tanking on the T110E5 (P), and sometimes on the Object 140 (P) as well. The Frenchman can be included in this list, but with a stretch, since he is the most “cardboard” car than the previous ones, but this is not his main calling, because he has a drum.

Thirdly, for the mode, maps were developed and worked out on which battles take place. Especially for "Superiority", the card makers made two maps from 0, and a number of maps were optimized for this mode, considering the aspect ratio and making the "maps" symmetrical, thereby reducing the "burning" of the players from the dissatisfaction of the side during the "setup" of the teams, and also removing any advantage from each of the teams.

Fourth, it's uniqueness. Yes, it is the uniqueness that makes players play this format. Greetings to all! Today you will learn about a new, cool mode, which can be briefly called "garage fights" with capture of the flag or "supremacy". Today, screenshots of this mode appeared in official group World Of Tanks VKontakte and apparently it is already being tested. And when can we try this mode? It is not yet known, but it is known for certain that this mode after the first tests, it will be sent for revision and, most likely, almost immediately after that it will get to our main server. A lot of details have already been said, so I will list them all for you now. This mode is not full-fledged, like an assault, standard or oncoming battle, but is only intended for a specific event, which one is not yet known, but most likely this event will take place either at the end of May, or somewhere in the middle of June, or maybe even at the end.

We know that in this mode some new unique mechanics will be used that were not previously present anywhere. They are quite complex and very global, so at the beginning they will be tested, and then they will be released, and there is a high probability that later they will be used in some full-fledged modes, and this event is more like a test for players to see if players like it or not. Battles will take place as standard 15 vs 15 with platoon support. It should also be noted that the vehicles for this mode will be unique, for the mode we have only three vehicles to choose from: Object 140, T110E5 and AMX50V, and not exactly the same as in the game, but closely similar to them. Why are there so few tanks? Most likely, all this was done for the sake of balance, so that the mode would eventually turn out to be as balanced as possible, and by the way, all three tanks will be added to your hangar immediately at the time of the event, and each of the vehicles can be equipped with your choice of equipment for free. Regarding the choice of equipment, what pleases me most about all this is that there is no PT and ART. It is also known that all battles will take place on only one map, which will be specially created for this mode, and it will be almost absolutely symmetrical, which is done again for balance purposes, and so that they take place cheerfully, actively and interestingly.

Additionally, an element of "garage" will be added, which everyone has been interested in for a long time. After death, you will be able to respawn, apparently only three tanks will be available per round, although there may be some chance to respawn, etc. etc., but this is still unknown. From this it is clear that some kind of Deathmatch is already planned, moreover, in which there will be an opportunity to come to a certain zone, where you can either repair or replenish ammunition, which is again added in order to ensure that the battles take place cheerfully, actively and interestingly. The coolness of this mode does not end there, in addition to this, we have the opportunity to capture the flag, which will also give a certain number of points, and in the end we get that we will need to kill opponents as much as possible and die as little as possible, and while capturing the flag as often as possible.

It turns out that there will be two options for winning, either to capture the flag very often, or to kill a lot of opponents, but I still do it for the third case - all this together. In general, it turns out to be a rather cool mode with cool features and capabilities that will really make the gameplay very cheerful and interesting, and if everything goes well, then this mode will be added as well as all the main modes such as assault, standard and oncoming combat, which will make the game at least more diverse and interesting. In a situation of solving the problem of boring battles, WarGaming approached very subtly. They decided not just to make separate garage fights and some kind of capture of the flag separately, but combined it all together and as a result we get such a cool mode. In addition, I will say that there is no more information yet, but it seems to me that this information is already enough to draw conclusions and think about whether this mode will bring something new, or become another failure. My opinion is only positive and I was very inspired when I learned about this mode. I have been waiting for garage fights for a long time, but I simply could not imagine that it would be implemented in such a way.

On the general test In Update 9.8, everyone could try the new Supremacy mode, which has been on the minds of players for a couple of weeks now. Allegedly by accident (but in fact very competently and on time), the screenshots of the new mode merged from the supertest became a real sensation and made us look forward to the start of testing. Finally, this long-awaited event happened, and we could not ignore it.

What it is?

"Superiority" is the implementation of those same "garage" fights that the developers have been talking about for quite some time. This is a special mode that has a bright fan focus, and does not affect game statistics in any way - a kind of amusement park with fun without consequences.

Equipment pool

Three tanks were specially prepared for the regime - Object 140 (P), T110T5 (P) and AMX 50B (P). The "(P)" index, as it were, hints that they are intended specifically for "Superiority". But at the same time TTX tanks have not changed - these are the same cars that we roll out at random.



To start playing, tanks must be equipped - load ammunition, put consumables and modules. Only when all three tanks are ready, you can safely press the "To battle" button.

Something about shells and consumables

On the test, for all tanks, only their main shells and high-explosive shells. There is no gold, however, as the developers say, when the mode is released, all types of shells will become available. It's probably not the best solution, but it's not for us to decide.

There is a very interesting situation with ammo and consumables in the mode: every time a tank is sent into battle, its ammunition and consumables are fully restored, spent first-aid kits and repair kits are also returned in the repair area. All this has economic implications, so you have to be careful when using equipment (and it is not yet known what the situation with equipment payment will be when the mode is released).

Introductory, legend and mode rules

As in regular battles, Supremacy is played by two teams of 10 or 15 vehicles (depending on the map), and their main goal is to win by points. Everything is simple and clear without further ado!

The battle lasts 10 minutes or up to 150 points - the team that scores these 150 points ahead of schedule, or will lead after 10 minutes, will win. Points are awarded for destroying enemy vehicles and successfully transferring the flag to the specified point:

  • For each destroyed enemy vehicle - 1 point;
  • For each flag delivered - 10, 15, 25 or 50 points.

The most points for the flag are given on the most difficult maps - for example, on the map "Sandy River" 50 points are given for the flag. But I assure you - these are very difficult, bloody glasses! And on the rather easy-to-play Karelia map, the team gets 15 points for each flag.

In total, seven maps have been prepared for the new mode - "Mines", "Karelia", "Himmelsdorf", "Lost City", "Cliff" and "Sandy River", as well as a specially designed map "Superiority". Unfortunately, the balancer in the new mode works exactly the same as in regular game, so hitting one map multiple times and never hitting another is usually the case.







There are two modes prepared for Supremacy:

  • With two flags and two bases - an analogue of the "Standard battle";
  • With one flag and two bases - an analogue of the "Encounter Battle".

The gameplay in each mode has its own characteristics, and at the same time it is fundamentally different from the gameplay in random.

How is the fight going?

The rules for playing Supremacy are extremely simple. At the beginning of the battle, one or two flags (depending on the mode) appear on the map, which you need to grab and carry to the indicated points (bases). To take the flag, you just need to drive up to it at a fairly close distance. The player who takes the flag sees two arrows on their mini-map pointing to destinations. All other players on their mini-map see a moving flag and its color is green if an ally has taken it, or red if it is in the hands of an enemy.

The task of the players is to protect the ally carrying the flag and escort him to his destination. Or, in the event of the destruction of the flag carrier, quickly pick up the flag and continue the journey. If the enemy has the flag, then the task is obvious - to destroy this enemy and take the flag from him. When the flag bearer is destroyed, the flag becomes ownerless for some time, and any player can pick it up, but if this does not happen within 15 seconds, then the flag returns to its original position.

If the flag is successfully conveyed to the destination point, then the team receives victory points, and after 5-10 seconds a new flag appears at its original position. And everything starts over.

The current number of points is displayed on a special panel at the top of the screen. Here everything is familiar and understandable. Nearby, the player's personal contribution to the victory is also displayed, that is, the number of victory points brought by him.

Repair and replacement of equipment during the battle

And here is the most interesting. When taking damage, the tank can be repaired in special zones - there are only four of them on the map, they are displayed with a characteristic icon with a crossed hammer and key. To repair, you should drive into the circle with this icon, and after 5 seconds the tank will be completely restored - the player will again have a full set of durability points, a healthy crew, restored modules. And also all spent equipment and shells will be restored.

If the tank takes damage while in the repair zone, the timer will stop and restart from 5 seconds. So the tank in this zone can be destroyed just as easily as anywhere else on the map.

But if the tank is destroyed, then a window for selecting another tank opens - you can take any of the two remaining vehicles. The choice is given 12 seconds, after which new tank goes into battle, while the previous car explodes and disappears from the map. So the map is not filled with corpses, although it would be very interesting, including from a gameplay point of view.


If the player does not choose himself, then at the end of 12 seconds he enters the battle on the tank that was automatically selected (and the choice is made simply in order of priority). When a new tank appears, it is immediately charged, so that the drummer does not have to wait almost a minute until the charge is completed - you can immediately start shooting.

The choice of tanks is an endless conveyor without limits. The player can die and "resurrect" as many times as they can in 10 minutes or before reaching 150 victory points. And this is where the whole fan of the new regime is seen.

Post-battle statistics

At the end of the battle, one statistic is displayed for all three tanks - it summarizes the total damage, the total number of shots, the total damage repulsed, etc. The numbers of post-battle statistics are simply amazing, and tens of thousands of points of damage dealt - this is usually the case for Supremacy!

Impressions and remarks

So, will players like the new mode? This is a big question. A lot of players get frustrated with Supremacy, as it turns out to be more difficult to understand and not that fun. On the contrary, this mode causes negative emotions more than a regular random. And the reasons for this are easy to understand.

A newcomer who finds himself in Supremacy for the first time, at first does not understand anything at all. Nothing! There are some flags here, red and green circles, everyone is rushing somewhere, shells are flying from everywhere, and during the battle there are as many opponents as at the beginning. There is a dump and confusion on the map, and the player has panic and hysteria!

But with each subsequent battle, the essence of the game becomes more and more clear, the players begin to build tactics and strategies (everyone quickly comes to understand that in the mode, the primary role is played by team game), and quickly come to victory. But the most interesting thing about all this is that the mode quickly tires and bothers, and many players do not express a desire to go into battle after the first defeat.

And a funny observation: sometimes after the destruction of the tank, out of habit, the hand pulls to press the Esc button and exit the battle. This highly automatic action is sometimes executed so quickly that the player leaves the battle before the next tank selection menu appears! So over time, the number of players may decrease, which only benefits the opponents.

In general, "Superiority" still causes conflicting feelings, and its future is seen very vaguely. Of course, players who played tank football for many hours in their time, drove Chaffee Sport or recalled their childhood on eight-bit maps, may like this mode. But it will not be all WoT players.

That is why the developers prudently called "Superiority" an event, that is, a temporary mode that is introduced only for a certain period. In case of failure, it can be easily removed, and if the “Superiority” goes well and is popular, then, at the request of the players, it can be transferred to a full-fledged mode.

As it will be in reality - time will tell. In the meantime, we are waiting for a few more tests of the new mode, during which it will be honed and brought to perfection.

AT update 3.0 which will be released 27th of June, a new game mode called Supremacy will be added. You will have a 50/50 chance of getting into the new mode, so be careful after the release of the update, look at the name of the map and mode.

Supremacy has a lot in common with Encounter, but still has its own peculiarities: new victory conditions and the absence of a neutral base that could be captured and instantly defeated. There is no new mode in training rooms yet.

In replacement of the neutral base, there are 3 points on the maps: A, B and C, and two scales with points appeared at the top of the screen. Before the start of the battle, teams will receive 300 victory points. Your task is to stay at the point for at least 15 seconds. Your team can capture 3 points at the same time and every 2 seconds of occupation will bring you 5 points. But as soon as the enemy tank drives into the point, the scoring stops.

Also, points will be awarded for the destruction of enemy combat vehicles. Your team will increase, and the enemy will decrease. The more points, the more chances to win. You can see the detailed result of the points in the post-battle statistics.
