World of warcraft legion description. WOW game classes. Farm normal dungeons

Companions not only help to carry out missions, but also open up some history in the fight against the Legion. So, you can meet the key personalities of lore, for example, Rehgar for shamans or Manastorm for mages. The main goal of associates (champions) is to help in various missions of the class stronghold, which give experience, artifact power, gold, and sometimes gear. A certain number of missions are also required to complete a class campaign or obtain a mount, such as a fox. Each class has access to eight allies in the Legion Hall, but only five champions can be active. The rest will be marked "awaiting instructions." You can activate an ally at any time, but it will cost 250 gold. Improving followers in the Legion: common, rare, epic The initial level of the champion is determined by which company (head) of the stronghold he received, but the starting quality will always be normal. That is, the quality does not depend on the level of the hero: 100, 13, 19 or 110. The maximum level is 110. To improve the quality of an ally, you need to complete missions. Experience graph for followers regardless of class:

Epic

When the champion has reached the maximum level and quality, then experience is not accrued for him.

Legion Companion Item Levels

Reaching follower level 110, he gets item ilvl 760, which can be upgraded to complete more difficult tasks. The maximum item level is 850. To improve the quality of equipment requires the following upgrades:

  • Heavy Armor Set: +5 position level
  • Reinforced Armor Set: +10 position level
  • Impenetrable Armor Set: +15 position level

This means that the items will always be a multiple of the number, and followers cannot have, for example, 799 ilvl. You can get elements in two ways: from various missions of the stronghold, using the third level of the stronghold upgrade. As for the second method, Druids, Monks and Shamans can get it. Other classes simply place orders for champion weapons. Each order takes 12 hours and costs 50 resources. Class Hall Companions Guide: Low Level and Combat . It is also worth considering that such followers do not receive full experience. If the difference is too great, then it will simply become useless: not conducive to success.

Companion equipment in the Legion

When champions reach level 110 and a different quality, they unlock equipment slots that can be used as upgrades. The first slot is unlocked when the follower reaches Rare quality, the second slot is unlocked when the follower reaches Epic quality. You can get the equipment:

  • Order Hall Missions
  • Local quests
  • The third level of the stronghold
  • Emissary
  • Treasures, chests

Companions in the Legion by class: a list, where to get it?

Below you can view the list, which shows all the Legion's comrades-in-arms by class, what abilities they have. For some champions, we have created helpful notes.

Companions of the Hunter (Hunt) Legion:

Peculiarity:

Rogue Companions (Rogues) Legion:

Peculiarity

We tell how to get PvE items and gear at level 110 for Legion raids. We present full list sources of equipment and levels of items that can be obtained in the Legion in one way or another.

How to dress in WOW Legion

New rules in Legion: the coolest items can be obtained through any activity (quests, dungeons, raids, etc.) - however, the likelihood of such an item proc is small.

How it works:

  • When a player receives an item (for killing a boss, completing a quest, etc.), the system rolls. If it is successful, the item's level increases by +5 and a new roll is made.
  • Rolls for proc +5 item levels continue until either a failed roll occurs (i.e. ilvl goes up) or until the gear reaches its maximum possible level.
    • Items that have been upgraded by 5-15 levels are referred to as "Forged in Battle".
    • Items leveled up 15+ levels are referred to as "Tempered Titans"
  • Both of these inscriptions are written in green under the name of the item in the tooltip, and in fact only show the “luck” of your character.

The first weeks after the release of the Legion, the maximum item level in the game is 850. A little later, it will be increased to 895.

Starting equipment is specialized for certain specializations and roles - most of the main characteristics change, adjusting to the specialization of the character who received them.

Rings and necklaces in Legion only have stamina + secondary stats, making them available for any specialization.

The personal loot system has also received a good improvement: if you win an item that turns out to be worse than the equipment you have, this item can be given / sold to other raid members.

How Relics Work

The main weapon of a character in the Legion is his artifact. Other weapons cannot be obtained - they do not drop out in dungeons and raids, they are not given as a reward for tasks.

Instead of weapons through various sources, you can now get relics - special items that increase the level of the item of your artifact, as well as enhance certain artifact talents.

Each artifact has 3 relic slots. Sockets are of a certain type and depend mainly on the class and specialization - for example, warlock artifacts have many sockets for fel relics.

Relics can also be "forged in battle" or "forged in titans". The coolest basic (without upgrade procs) relics drop in mythic dungeons - they increase the level of the artifact by +40.

More details about relics and their types are described in the Guide to artifact weapons in WOW Legion.

Important video about relics:

Legion Dungeons (810-850)

Legion has 10 dungeons. 8 of them are available immediately at level 110 (Normal and Heroic), and 2 dungeons require Nightfallen reputation and some other conditions - they are only available in Mythic.

Item Level in Legion Dungeons:

  • Normal - 810
  • Heroic - 825
  • Mythic - 840

Heroic dungeons require item level 810 on your character to access, while Mythic dungeons require a pre-set party (and cannot be completed more than once a week).

Since two dungeons - the Quarter of Stars and the Catacombs of Suramar - are only available on Mythic difficulty and have additional conditions, some loot items, if equipped at the same time, provide a bonus.

Among other things, the March of the Legion bonus is interesting, as it increases damage against demons.

World Quests become available once you reach level 110 and achieve reputation Friendly with 5 Legion factions for the quest World Quests.

World Quest rewards start at item level 805. The higher the item level on the character, the higher rewards he will receive for world quests.

More difficult tasks give more valuable rewards. For example, killing an elite monster (for which you need to assemble a group) gives better equipment than a regular task to free 10 captives.

Another example: if your gear is ilvl 818 on average, normal quests will reward items ilvl 820-835, while hard quests will always reward ilvl 835 gear.

Craft equipment (815-850)

In the Legion, there are no restrictions on the number of crafting items equipped at a time on a character.

Items crafted for Legion professions cannot be "Forged in Battle" or "Forged in Titans", but can be upgraded to level 850 with the special Annihilation Forge.

Video about item annihilation in Legion:

In theory, if you have a lot of gold or a lot of time, you can fully gear up in level 850 gear even before the raids open.

The best crafting equipment in the Legion starts at level 815. Necklaces from Jewelcrafting look especially good - they have a socket and a special proc, depending on the character's class.

Profession-crafted relics are level 805 and cannot be upgraded with Annihilation Forge.

How the improvement of crafting items in the Legion works:

  • Complete the chain to access the Forge of Annihilation
  • Destroy Legion crafting items (from any profession), get Obliterum Grains from them. 100 grains = 1 Annihilate.
  • To improve crafting equipment by +5 levels, you need 1 Obliterum and 2 Blood of Sargeras.
  • More about item upgrades: Annihilate and Annihilation Forge in Legion.
  • More about Blood of Sargeras: Where to get and how to spend Blood of Sargeras.

Class Hall Set (810-840)

In the stronghold of your class, a special set of equipment is available, access to each item opens for the passage of one or another WOW Legion content (everything can be completed alone).

All sets of the class hall can be viewed on the Wowhead website.

Item level ranges from 810 to 850. All items can be upgraded to ilvl 840, with the exception of shoulder pads, which default to ilvl 850.

Base item levels from the stronghold set:

  • 810: helmet, bracers, belt
  • 820: gloves, pants
  • 830: chest
  • 840: boots
  • 850: shoulder pads

How to open each item from the set:

  • Helm - reach level 110, turn in the congratulatory quest in the class hall.
  • Bracers - Recruit 6 class hall champions (champions are unlocked as the class hall campaign progresses).
  • Gloves - Reach at least Honored reputation with the Nightfallen.
  • Pants - Defeat 8 final bosses in Legion Dungeons (on any difficulty).
  • Boots - Reach Revered with two Broken Isles factions. Going forward, Revered with the Broken Isles factions will be needed to learn flying in the Legion.
  • Chest - Complete your class hall campaign.
  • Belt - Gain 100,000 Artifact Power.
  • Shoulders - Reach Exalted with the Nightfallen faction in Suramar.

All items except shoulder pads can be upgraded to level 840:

  • 810 -> 820: 500 Order Resources
  • 820 —> 830: 2000 Order Resources
  • 830 -> 840: 4000 Order Resources

World bosses (850)

There are 11 World Bosses available in Legion, and some Epic World Quests are associated with them. Bosses will be available as long as World Quests to kill them are available on the map (usually they hang for several days).

In addition to loot from world bosses, you will receive rewards for completing a world quest to kill (gold, stronghold resources, artifact power).

World bosses in Legion drop level 850 items. When raids are opened, the item level from world bosses will be 860.

A little later, we will add a separate guide to Legion world bosses.

Reputation Equipment (820-850)

All Legion factions sell level 820 gear for Revered reputation and level 850 items for Exalted.

Legendaries in Legion are a random world drop! They have an item level of 895 and greatly enhance an ability - so much so that you can change your playstyle or PvE build to make the most of the effect of the legendary.

At the start of the Legion, players will only be able to equip one legendary item at a time. As the class hall is upgraded, this number can be increased to two items.

At the start of WOW Legion, Legendaries will greatly buff the character, if only because they significantly increase the average level of items.

Improved equipment in WOW Legion

Upgrading equipment in Legion works the same as it does in Draenor: you can enchant and enchant items.

True, there are no weapon enchantments in the Legion, and enchants from Draenor cannot be placed on weapons above level 850.

In terms of PvE, there are 3 item slots that can be enchanted in Legion: rings, cloaks, and necklaces. There are also enchants for gloves and shoulder pads, but they do not provide any benefit in completing PvE content.

Gem sockets have a small chance to appear on any Legion equipment: from bosses in raids and dungeons, world bosses, from world quests, etc. Rings and necklaces crafted with Jewelcrafting always have one gem slot.

Jewelers who have completed the To Dalaran, With Love quest can craft Epic Battle Units with +200 stats.

Useful video about dressing at level 110 in the Legion:

We hope this will help you quickly get dressed in pve equipment at level 110 in WOW Legion.

pumped up maximum level and don't know what to do next? Then this guide is for you.

When you level up to level 110, you will unlock the first set tier for your class: a level 810 helmet. So go to your stronghold and buy it.

Unlock world quests

Once you reach the maximum level, you will receive a world quest called "Uniting the Islands", in which you must earn the "Friendly" reputation with the following factions:

  • The Nightfallen (Suramar)
  • Court of Farondis (Azsuna)
  • Tribes of Highmountain (Highmountain)
  • Dream Weavers (Valshara)
  • Valaryar (Stormheim)

If you complete all the quests in each of the listed factions, you will gain the reputation you need with each faction.

World quests

After unlocking these quests, you must start doing them in order to receive the following types of rewards:

  • The reward depends on the level of your items. If you are level 800, then you will receive a level 805 reward. If your level is 808, then you will receive a level 815-820 reward.
  • Artifact Upgrade
  • Blood of Sargeras as a reward
  • Order Resources
  • gold

Another reason for completing world quests is to increase reputation with factions. I would recommend doing the Nightfallen quests.

With a good reputation with this faction, you can buy good gear from a merchant:

  • Level 820 Class Gloves (Unlocked with Faction Respect)
  • Gear upgrade from level 810 to level 820 (unlocked with faction respect)
  • Level 840 Class Shoulders (Unlocked by exalted with a faction)
  • Gear upgrade from level 830 to level 840 (opened with respect from the faction)

You can also unlock class items from other factions (when completing world quests):

  • Level 830 Class Boots (Unlocked by Revered with 2 Broken Isles factions)
  • Gear upgrade from level 820 to level 830 (Unlocked by honoring two factions of the Broken Isles)

Complete eight dungeons: Legplates (level 820)

As you clear eight different dungeons, you'll unlock level 820 legplates for purchase.

Farm normal dungeons

Normal dungeons will reward you with item level 805 and this is a great chance to gear up before Heroic Dungeons.

Unlock Heroics and beat them

After unlocking the Heroics (requires ilvl 810 gear), complete them all to gear up and eventually level up your items to ilvl 825.

Continue quest line: Bracers (level 810)

At max level, you will have about 4-5 allies in your class hall (if you did class quests while leveling). You will receive 6 followers when you complete the class quest at level 110. Why would you go through it? Because you can buy bracers from the merchant, which will open after completing the task.

Complete the class quest chain: Chest (Level 830)

Also, when completing the entire quest chain in the class hall, you will be able to buy a ilvl 830 chestplate from the quartermaster in your hall.

Completing the same chain also unlocks a third slot for your legendary weapon, and at the same time a new appearance that can be changed at the forge.

Items from professions

With the help of different crafts: blacksmith, leatherworker and so on, you can make things for yourself. They are divided into two groups: "level 715-785" and "level 815".

In order to do things of level 815, you need to go through a chain of tasks that are associated with a particular profession. In the future, you will be able to increase the level of the item made up to 850 (5 levels at a time).

Artifact Power Upgrade

Once you get the artifact, you will need to complete tasks and increase the power of your artifact in every possible way. The greater its power, the greater the level and benefit that it can bring to the battlefield.

Upon reaching the maximum level, an artifact researcher will open for you, which will help you improve your artifact. Exploring the artifact will take a long time. Each research increases the power of your artifact.

Preparing for the Arcway Dungeons and the Judgment of the Stars

These two dungeons are only available in Mythic, Normal and Heroic modes are not available. These two dungeons will be unlocked after you complete Chapter: The Art of Statecraft. In order to start this chapter you need 8000 - 12000 reputation points with the Nightfallen faction.

When you have a high level of gear

Set your sights on Mythic and Mythic+ class dungeons. Having 820+ gear will be a great help for Mythic dungeons. In these dungeons, you will receive item level 840 (it can also be battle-hardened, which will increase its level). Once you get used to these dungeons, you can use rocks to increase the difficulty. For this, you will receive a chest that will lie in the stronghold of your class and increase the level of your item by +5.

Also don't forget to do world quests to get new items and increase your average ilvl (equipment level).

Raids

Raids are not yet available, but it is already known that there will be two of them:

  • Emerald Nightmare (raid on 7 bosses).
  • Suramar Palace (10 boss raid).

The essence will be the same. We farm gear, reputation, we get achievements. In general, everything is the same as what we did in previous additions.

Updated: August 30, 2016.

World of Warcraft: Legion is live! The time has come to embark on your quest to the Broken Isles to seek out and master Artifact weapons of legendary might, and to rally like-minded champions to your cause in your class hall. In this desperate hour, you must also strike a forbidden pact with the outcast Demon Hunters of the Illidari, fel-twisted disciples of the dreaded Illidan the Betrayer. Should you fail. . . worlds will burn.

Legion includes:

  • Maximum level increased to 110.
  • New zones to explore.
  • New PvP Prestige and Honor Talents system.
  • New dungeons and raids.
  • World Quests.
  • New Battle Pets.
  • Professional update.

New Transmogrification Collections System: Appearances

  • New Collection tab: Appearances
  • Unlock new appearances by collecting Soulbound weapons and armor of your character's primary armor type.
  • Unlocked appearances are account-wide and usable for transmogrification by other characters that can equip the item.
  • When first logging into a character after Patch 7.0, the appearances of appropriate items in your bags, bank, and Void Storage are learned automatically. Additional appearances will be unlocked based on previously-completed quests.
  • Transmogrifiers located in most major cities have been improved with additional features.
    • Got a look that you like? Save the entire transmogrification set as an outfit. Create and swap between outfits at the Transmogrifier.
    • Additionally, transmogrifications can now be associated with your current specialization. Your outfit automatically changes when switching specializations if you so desire.
    • Added a new option to hide shoulders.
    • The option to hide helmets, cloaks, and shoulders has been moved into the transmogrification system.

Revamped PvP Progression and Honor System

  • The PvP Reward System will now provide appropriate items for players level 100 and below.
  • Honor Points and Conquest Points have been removed as a currency.
  • Items that were purchased using Honor or Conquest are now available for purchase with Marks of Honor that can be earned from Battlegrounds, Arenas, and Skirmishes.
  • Learn more about upcoming PvP changes in our Legion PvP Preview .

Equalized PvP Gear

  • Gear has been normalized in PvP combat. Characters entering a Skirmish Arena, Battleground, Rated Arena, Rated Battleground, or Ashran now receive an aura called Principles of War.
  • Principles of War removes all stats gained from gear (Strength, Stamina, Haste, etc.), disables gear related bonuses (like trinket effects and set bonuses), and gives the character stats based on their specializations, and increases based on overall item level . The goal is to provide a much more finely tuned and balanced PvP experience.

Arenas

  • The pennant attached to the back of characters now changes its appearance based on the player's best rating in the Arena bracket.
  • The 5v5 Arena bracket has been retired. "Arena Master" achievement has been converted into a Feat of Strength.

Battlegrounds

  • Queueing for a random Battleground and winning with a character below level 110 now awards a Crate of Battlefield Goods. Players on the opposing team also have a chance to receive a crate with an increasing chance based on team score at the end of a match. The crate contains a piece of armor appropriate for the character's level and specialization with a chance for the crate to contain additional rewards such as weapons or relics.

Raids and Dungeons

Hellfire Citadel

  • Enemies on Normal, Heroic, and Mythic difficulty now deal roughly 30% less damage.

Legacy

  • Normalized gold from Legacy raids prior to Warlords of Draenor. Heroic difficulty Cataclysm Raids now award less gold than before, while raids from Mists of Pandaria and Wrath of the Lich King will now award more gold.
  • Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj now resets daily instead of every 3 days.

Looting

  • Need/Greed and Round Robin looting options have been merged into the Group Loot setting. When Group Loot is chosen, main-specialization Need takes priority over off-specialization Need, followed by Greed/Disenchant.
  • Master Loot has been renamed “Guild Master Loot” and is only selectable in guild groups. A guild group is defined as one where at least 80% or more of the group belongs to the same guild. If a group meets that requirement, the group leader may select Guild Master Loot regardless of their own guild affiliation.
  • Personal Loot now allows players to trade any items that are not Item Level upgrades for them to eligible groupmates, subject to the two-hour trade timer.
  • In outdoor world content, loot will be distributed using the Personal Loot method, regardless of which option the group leader has selected.

Quests and World

Legendary Ring Quest Line

  • Players can no longer start the quest line for the legendary ring. Players currently on the legendary quest line have until the launch of Legion to complete it; at which point uncompleted quests will be removed from the quest log.

Tap Changes

  • All creatures and NPCs can now be tapped by up to 5 other characters.

World Events

  • The Brawler's Guild is taking a break and will return at a later date.
  • The Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza has taken a temporary hiatus while the fish are restocked.

Items and Itemization

Itemization

  • In an effort to reduce the amount of gear swapping between specializations, the following changes have been made.
    • Legion cloaks, rings, and items worn on the neck are no longer tied to a specific primary stat, and will remain relevant between specializations.
    • Spirit and Bonus Armor have been removed.
  • Multistrike has been removed. Items that had multistrike have had it replaced with another secondary stat.
  • Trinkets obtained from Raids, PvP, and world drops in Warlords were overtuned and have been brought back to intended power levels.
  • Set bonuses for item sets from expansions prior to Warlords of Draenor have been deactivated, though the text describing their former function still remains.
  • Spell Power on all caster weapons have been consolidated into Intellect to make it easier to compare item power between two caster weapons. Overall weapon power remains unchanged.

Items

  • Potion of Luck and Greater Potion of Luck no longer have an effect.
  • Gladiator's Distinction set bonus has been removed from all PvP trinkets.

Character Changes

Specialization System Changes

  • Characters can now change between any of their specializations while out of combat. Action bar configurations and talent loadouts are saved for each specialization. As a result, Dual Specialization has been removed.

Updates to Combat Visuals and Audio

  • Updated and improved on the animations, visual effects, and audio on core combat interactions like auto-attacks as well as many melee class abilities.

Talent System Changes

  • Players may now change talents freely when in any rested XP area. The Inscription profession can craft consumable items that allow for this to be done in the field. In addition, after queuing into an instanced dungeon, raid, or PvP content, players have a grace period during which they may change talents freely.

Glyph System Changes

  • The Glyph panel has been removed from the game. Some minor glyphs that had a cosmetic effect that does not apply to a specific spell have been converted into cosmetic items that provide the same effects as before.
  • Some minor glyphs that made cosmetic alterations to a specific spell have been added to the spell itself in the spellbook.

Draenor Perks Removed

  • Draenor Perks have been removed from the game.

Armor Changes

  • Hunters and Shaman can now equip Mail armor from level 1 (down from level 40).
  • Warriors and Paladins can now equip Plate armor from level 1 (down from level 40).

Racial Abilities

human

  • Every Man for Himself now removes all Stun effects and shares a 30-second cooldown with other items or abilities that have a similar effect.
  • The Human Spirit has been redesigned. Human characters now gain 1% more of all secondary stats (Haste, Critical Strike, Mastery, and Versatility) from all sources

class changes

All classes and specializations have undergone changes to abilities and mechanics. Check out our class preview logs for a better understanding on the thought process behind these changes.

Garrison

  • Many sources of gold from the Garrison has been reduced or removed.
  • Newly obtained salvage from the Salvage Yard no longer contains equippable items. Salvage obtained from before the patch remains unaffected.

Collections

toy box

  • A number of items with novel effects have been converted for inclusion in the Toy Box.
  • Orb of Deception now lets the character retain features like armor that's worn when transforming.
  • New toy: Soft Foam Sword, sold by Jepetto Joybuzz. The toy mortally wounds (but does not kill) an enemy of trivial difficulty.

Professions

Inscription

  • Major glyphs, along with many minor glyphs, have been converted or removed from the game.

Pet Battles

  • A buff icon has been added to make it easier to tell when a character has XP gain disabled.

account

These are class mounts added only in the Legion expansion and can only be ridden by members of certain classes, although all mounts are added to the mount collection and count towards the corresponding achievements. To get any of these mounts, you need to complete the class campaign final quest, which becomes available after a few conditions are met:

1) First you need to complete all other tasks of the class campaign;

2) Unlock flying in the Broken Isles by completing the Broken Isles Pathfinder Part 1 and Broken Isles Pathfinder Part 2 achievements.

3) Complete the Legionfall's Broken Shore campaign and earn the Infiltrate the Tomb achievement for it.

If skins other than the standard skins are available for your class mount, then you can buy these skins in your class hall for 1000 hall resources, but only if you have already upgraded your artifact to the maximum and get the More Might achievement for this. Some class mount skins are available immediately and change depending on the chosen specialization.
