A launcher is a program that automatically downloads game client server of your choice, as well as launch the game with the specified settings (the amount of RAM, autologin to the server, etc.).The launcher is required to play on our servers. It is impossible to enter the server from another launcher!
After starting the launcher, you need to enter your login and password (specified during registration), select the server on which you want to start playing and click on the "LOGIN" button.
Some anti-virus programs may detect the EXE version of the launcher as malware. We guarantee that there is nothing dangerous for your PC in it - it's all about the absence of a digital signature of the EXE version of the launcher. The moment has come when we can present you a new version of our launcher - 3.0. The new version is significantly different from the previous one. We can even call it revolutionary.
The new version was written from scratch, the development lasted for two months. Our main task was to surprise you and we believe that we succeeded. "Troika" has significant differences from all existing launchers, not only in appearance but also in terms of functionality. We decided to "break" the typical launcher template. Let's now take a look at what we've got.
The user interface of the new launcher is built on the new JavaFX technology. Therefore, you will need to upgrade to Java 8. Although this technology is still present in the now obsolete Java 7, it has been greatly improved in Java 8. But the launcher is displayed the same on all operating systems (with the exception of font rendering).

When you launch the application, the first thing you will be greeted with is the "start" screen. You can notice that the window layout has become larger. This was needed to fit more user interface elements.
Login form
In the next step, you will be greeted with a login form. Without it, nowhere) During the development of its design has changed 3 times. The latest version is the best. We want to warn you that one design idea awaits you, which the screenshot could not convey.
Actually, this is where the departure from the typical launcher template begins in the missing server selection (located elsewhere) and the added auto-login function. Let's talk about the last point in more detail. In the "troika" we decided to remove the login form into the background. This means that you will see her less often. By enabling the remember password function, the launcher will automatically go through the authorization process at startup, bypassing the login handicap - you will immediately enter your personal account.
The ability to use an email address as a login has become available. In the future, we are going to completely switch to authorization using E-mail as a login. This will improve account security.

After talking about the login form, we came to the most important thing - your personal account.
At first glance, it may seem simple to you, but we assure you that everything "the most necessary" is here. It's just hidden well) The personal account is somewhat reminiscent of the one in Launcher 1.0. 
Settings
The settings were made in the form of a sliding panel. You can open them using the "Settings" item in the service menu or using a special window button that allows you to do this from any screen. 
The first thing you will rather notice is that there are fewer settings compared to the previous version. Yes, this is true, but the functionality of the application has not deteriorated, but on the contrary, we have only improved some of the options.
Let's list the options that were in the old launcher:
- Remember password - moved to where it belongs - on the login screen.
- Download client - deprecated option. Replaced new feature"Reset client configuration".
- Full screen mode - saved.
- Offline mode - only the option was removed, but the function remained and is now turned on automatically.
- Enable Shader Support - saved (feature appeared in version 2.7 released a year ago - see news).
So we come to the most important thing, what is the meaning of any launcher - downloading the client. And our client loader is not simple, but round) We preferred to abandon the typical progress bars (this is noticeable in the example of our server monitoring) in favor of circles. It turned out pretty interesting. Even found a place where to shove the cancel button. Speaking of the button - we are the first who decided to add it. Not a single launcher has it yet. And the button is necessary - suddenly the user changes his mind about downloading the client. A typical launcher will have to be restarted, and we have a button to stop the process (although technically speaking, a thread).
Having finished the discussion of design solutions, let's see what the "troika" brought us in the form of functionality.
New "Client Configuration Reset" feature
This feature has replaced the deprecated client pumping. Do you know why this very pumping of the client was necessary? - To solve problems with incorrect configs due to which the game did not start. True, with such a pumping, precious screenshots, texture packs were lost and we had to wait a long time until the client loaded. With the new feature, that's all in the past now. The function is still involved in downloading client files, but it does it selectively - only configs are cleared. Due to this, it works very quickly.
Shared Library Repository
All clients share a common repository of libraries and other resources. We took this idea from the Mojang launcher. This made it possible to reduce their weight due to the absence of duplicate files and speed up the download of the client - fewer files need to be downloaded. It will take a long time to download only the first client. Let's say you first downloaded the HiTech client, then decided to play Magic - you just need to download its mods and you can play!
Migration of clients
To implement shared storage, we needed to change the folder structure of the clients. For this reason, the new launcher will not find the clients of the previous one. We've added a feature to help you migrate them to work on the new one. This will save you from having to set up the client "for yourself" in a new way.
Offline mode
The launcher can work even without an internet connection, as in previous version. The only difference is that the mode is now turned on automatically. The mode allows you to run a previously downloaded single player client.

How to start playing on servers?
To start playing on servers, select any server you like from the list. You can search for servers by Minecraft version, as well as by the parameter or mini-game you are interested in.
When you have chosen a server, click on the "play" button. After that, the download of the Minecraft version that is installed on the playground will begin, and then you will immediately find yourself on the server.
How to start playing single player?
If you want to play a single game, then click on the "start playing" button to the right of your nickname.
If you need to select a different version, then click on it, and then click "manage versions". In this section, you will be able to install, reinstall and remove versions of Minecraft.
If your server is in MRLauncher, but our standard logo is displayed next to it, then your server does not have an icon.
To install an icon on your Minecraft server, you need to do the following:
1. Create a 64x64 pixel image. You can make it using Photoshop or find it ready on the Internet;
3. Rename the image to server-icon.png;
4. Upload the image to the root folder of the server;
5. Restart the server;
6. The icon is set. Press the "refresh server list" button in the launcher and an icon will appear next to your server.
You are logged into the server and can't move. The chat window asks you to register.
To do this, open the chat with the "/" key and enter:
/register "your password" "repeat password"
You create your own password! The most important thing is to remember it, because when you return to the server, you will need to enter it again, only in a different way:
/login "your password specified during registration"
MRLauncher does not include servers that cannot be launched through our launcher for technical reasons. These include licensed servers, servers Minecraft Pocket Edition , as well as the server with own launchers. In addition, the launcher did not include Minecraft server versions 1.5.2 and below, since the possibility of auto-connect appeared only with version 1.6.
If your server has version 1.5.2 or lower, but you can access it with more than new version, then you can select it on monitoring. Then your server will be included in MRLauncher.
