Where does Freddy Bear and his friends live. Animatronics: history. Animatronics ("Five Nights at Freddy's"): how did they appear? Animatronic Freddy's story. Interesting facts not related to the plot

Since children are completely fans of this game, and my son is no exception, I decided to find out what kind of game it is, whether it is possible for children to play it, where does the child have such love for it. As an adult, it was even fun to play, but it is obvious that not everything is so harmless for the delicate child psyche.

five nights at Freddy's (Five Nights at Freddy's) is a horror game. The game takes place in Freddy Fazbear's Pizza ( Freddy Bear's Pizzeria), where the player - security guard Mike Schmidt must survive from 12 am to 06 am. The guard cannot move, he can only follow the cameras for the approach of the animatronics, turn on the light in the corridor and defend himself from the animatronics by closing the electronic doors.

Doors must not be kept closed, as it is necessary to save electricity, otherwise the power will turn off. If the guard survives for 5 nights, he will receive a salary.

Animatronics are robotic animals that move around the pizzeria at night and can kill a person by using them as an endoskeleton (a skeleton for animal costumes). The main characters are Freddy (bear), Bonnie (rabbit), Foxy (foxes), Chica (chicken), Golden Freddy (yellow bear).

In the subsequent parts of the game, the characters become more and more scary, ugly, new characters appear, and there is less and less protection from them. Moreover, the characters have every chance to kill you right away, but they will exhaust you first, and then attack you unexpectedly. The game keeps the player in constant tension and expectation of fear, which is fueled by the sounds of footsteps, uneven breathing from nearby rooms, figures in the dark, sounds of voices, falling pots, etc. In case of a loss, a screamer with a piercing screech appears on the screen. And he appears really unexpectedly. And it seems that the screamer is not terrible, but the accumulated tension affects the release of adrenaline.

The game itself is very easy to manage, there is no particular development of events in it. The legend of the pizzeria is developed by scraps of newspaper articles, phone calls with the voices of previous guards warning about animatronics, and, well, speculation by the game's fans.

Everything in the game English language, all stories can be found in the reviews of the game.

The game does not last long (until the energy runs out or until the animatronics attack - about 5-8 minutes), losing makes you replay, and winning makes you go to the next level. Thus, the game is addictive. Plus the tension. Now I understand where the child's fears of the dark came from, why he peers into the darkness, and has become impulsive.

Of the positive aspects - my son (7 years old) really likes to sculpt the heroes of the game from plasticine. And he does very well. And sculpting is very useful. So let it sculpt on health. Although the figures-horror stories at first we were very embarrassed.

I think that in general the problem consists of several factors - the age of the child, the time spent playing games, the age category of the game and its genre. For ourselves, we decided to do this - we limited the playing time (even better if he plays without sound, because sound is the main stress factor). In our country, in principle, a tablet is allowed only on weekends, the child is already used to it. Now we will make sure that we play no more than 20 minutes. Although there was a period when games were removed from the tablet. After a summer vacation with his grandmother, where there were no restrictions on games, the child returned uncontrollable. I had to take action. But at school, all the children discuss FNaF, the release of new FNaF games, and they play during breaks, so better at home restrict rather than prohibit altogether. I do not want him to be a "white crow". To be on the same wavelength with the child, I carefully looked at the reviews of the game, understood the terminology (otherwise, screamers, endoskeletons, etc. was not clear to me), played the game myself, then played with my son. My son was amazed at my awareness, we talked with him as friends. It seems to me that he began to trust me more and accepted my arguments about limiting games with understanding. We also agreed that FNaF 2,3 and 4 games will not be uploaded yet. Still, the 1st part is more harmless. Enough for our age.

Turning to the assessment of the game with its advantages and disadvantages, I understood and established myself in the opinion that the advantages for one age category (older) will be disadvantages for another. It was interesting for me to play logically, calculate the movements of the animatronics, close the doors in time, survive until the morning.

P.S.: It is impossible to protect a child from everything, but you need to create an atmosphere of trust and teach him to make the right choice.

Series mobile games Five Nights at Freddy's has gained popularity due to its interesting gameplay and horror atmosphere. Horror penetrates to the bone ... The most interesting thing is that fear is pumped up gradually. Very few games in this genre can boast the same quality. During the game, the blood literally freezes in the veins. The developers have done their best. Such high-quality mobile toys have not been seen for a long time.

Many people are interested in the history of Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria. Of course, it is always interesting to know the creepy details. And here the developers have outdone themselves. History is replete with terrible facts, murders, mysticism and incomprehensible phenomena. The plot is so famously twisted that you do not always understand what is at stake at the moment. For now, though, let's get back to the game itself.

A little about the game

The bottom line is that the player needs to hold out for five nights in a pizzeria as a security guard. Everything would be fine, but at night evil animatronics crawl in the building, who are eager to kill the main character. You can only watch them with the help of cameras. If the hero coped with his task, then at the end of the game he is given a check and offered to roll on all four sides. However, not many can withstand five nights.

Animatronics are so hostile towards humans because they perceive them as an exoskeleton. In accordance with their machine thinking, the puppets decide that there is nothing for the naked exoskeleton to crawl around the room, and they try with all their might to stuff it into the suit (shell). Here is the end of the man. Since the inside of the shell is full of piercing and cutting objects. Fighting animatronics is pointless - they are much stronger. Yes, and such an opportunity is not provided by the gameplay. The player can only run away from the bloodthirsty dolls in a panic or simply prevent them from approaching by hiding in a special room. Few games can cause a feeling of hopeless horror in a person. 5 Nights at Freddy's is one of those.

The main opponent of the player is an animatronic named Freddie (he is a bear). He tries to kill the main character by all means available to him. To avoid this sad fate, you need to competently move around the building, avoiding the paws of the animatronics. Now let's see how scary the story of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria is.

Start

According to the official chronicle, initially Freddie's pizzeria had a completely different name. Back in 1987, the institution was called Fredbear and Friends and was a family restaurant (like McDonald's). Nothing remarkable happened at that time. All the horror began in the first part of Five Nights at Freddy's, when an institution called Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria was opened on the site of the restaurant.

This is where the horror begins. A certain person, educating a new guard on the phone about the unseemly behavior of local animatronics, mentions the fact that five children have disappeared within the walls of a pizzeria. According to him, the children were killed, and their bodies were stuffed into the animatronics. The most interesting thing is that in further development plot, it becomes clear that this very telephone “well-wisher” killed the children. he himself will die terrible death. He tried on an animatronic costume and was crushed by a metal frame.

Soon, the customers of the pizzeria began to complain that some kind of foul-smelling liquid was flowing from the animatronics. As we understand, all this time the corpses of children were decomposing in them. The administration decided to close the pizzeria for a long 27 years.

Bite 87

In the same 1987, an animatronic named Foxy acted out the birthday of one of the little visitors. The boy's friends stuck the birthday man's head into Foxy's mouth, which he did not fail to take advantage of and bit off a fair amount of the poor fellow's frontal lobe of the brain. All this happened after the animatronics acquired an unpleasant smell. Perhaps it was this incident that caused Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria to close.

Be that as it may, the "Bite of 87" played a positive role. Now the children were protected from vicious, stinking dolls. However, this is not the end of the story. The story of Freddy's pizzeria will continue in almost 30 years.

27 years later

Almost 30 years later, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria is reopening. And again, terrible things begin to happen in it. Guard Schmidt now fights the willfulness of the animatronics in a tougher mode. However, now the puppets are controlled by the spirits of the murdered children. And they only want blood.

Apparently, Schmidt is the guy who called the previous guard on the phone, since no calls were received on his shift. Accordingly, he is the killer of unfortunate children. It is only natural that their spirits do not rest until Schmidt is out of his guts. Not a very happy ending. But on this horror stories about Freddie's pizzeria do not end there. It is worth noting that after the death of the culprit, the pizzeria burns to the ground due to a shorted wiring. Good way finish the game.

Bitten

Around the same time that Schmidt is fighting the animatronics, a boy who has lost a piece of his brain is trying to fight off the dolls in his house. True, how the animatronics were able to leave the pizzeria and get into his house is not clear. The guy is armed with just a flashlight. However, he successfully survives this nightmare. Unless, of course, the player knows what to do.

It is clear that after all the horrors experienced, the boy becomes unbalanced (to put it mildly). It is logical to assume that now his place is in a lunatic asylum. However, this does not happen. It seems that the story of Freddie's pizzeria is here, as it were, and nothing to do with it. But on closer inspection, this story is an important addition plot.

mini games

In addition to the main plot, Five Nights at Freddy's also has side mini-games. Their graphics are reminiscent of Atari or Nintendo classics in many ways. They are not part of the plot and are a regular bonus. However, they schematically talk about what happened to the poor kids and much more. Most users miss such uninteresting moments. Moreover, the history of Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria already has a bunch of interesting moments.

Mini-games help the user to better understand the essence and plot of the game. However, they do not carry any practical value. There are no bonuses or any other "delicious goodies". That is why many prefer to skip this uninteresting stage.

Conclusion

All parts of this game are made very high quality. For a long time there were no such exciting platformers. The atmosphere of piercing horror is the hallmark of 5 Nights at Freddy's. The history of the pizzeria is replete with creepy stories, corpses, murders, mystical events. The plot will not leave anyone indifferent. Even the most demanding horror fans will find a lot of interesting things in this game. Let's hope that soon the game will be released on PC. It would be interesting to see the full version. Is it possible that the PC version will be better than the mobile one? Hardly.

Freddy Bear is a game hero, a robot that looks like a toy bear. He works in a pizzeria and sings songs for visitors. But this is during the day. And at night, together with his robot friends, also in the form of toys, he hunts children and kills the guards. That is, this character is in two essences: the first - day - sweet and good-natured, the second, night - a terrible ruthless monster. And these hypostases somehow coexist in a bear. Is it because he has two essences: a robot, an obedient slave of a person, and a toy, according to a number of ethnographers and historians, a small idol, an image of a pagan god, who, as you know, was not very pleasant. So whether this paranoid creature exists - Freddie's bear or is it just another fictional character - we will consider further.

Does Freddy Bear exist in real life?

The name of the bear cub is odious and, of course, it was not chosen by chance. This is a completely transparent reference to Freddy Krueger, a terrible maniac-killer from the cult movie "A Nightmare on Elm Street". Freddy Krueger, being a dead man, acts on two planes at once: in reality and in a dream. Which, in general, is consistent with the existence of the Freddy bear, whether he exists or not. True, the hero of a horror film on both planes (in a dream and in reality) commits cruel atrocities, which distinguishes him from a paranoid bear.

Teddy bear from a nightmare

Yes, sleep is the time of the unconscious, when the soul wanders in the depths of unconscious fears. In a dream, a person lives situations that are often impossible in reality, but still scare him. So here. This is a children's nightmare: a beloved kind bear cub suddenly turns into a monster. So, if the Freddy bear really exists, then at the junction of fears and nightmares. Aren't people afraid that the other person will turn out to be someone terrible ("Alien Soul - Darkness")? And is it sometimes do not turn into a monster?

The fact that the Freddie bear does not exist in real life, but in the realm of the unconscious, in the realm of sleep, is also confirmed by the fact that the worst thing happens in the dark. - one of the usual childhood fears - we carry in one form or another through our lives. The fear of the dark is the fear of the unknown, the fear of an unknown danger.

Fears are bad baggage, heavy and useless. Perhaps the story about Freddie the bear is an opportunity to get rid of at least one of them.

It is impossible to definitely answer the question as to whether Freddy's bear exists in real life, but somewhere in the subconscious it still exists, if we talk about it not in a literal sense.

The story is this: on June 13, the news about the creation of an unusual survival horror called Five Nights at Freddy's was published on Steam Greenlight. After the release of the trailer, the society became interested in the game, and after the release of the demo version, the game gained popularity in a short time.

The game is a sitting on an armchair, you need to watch the pizzeria Freddy Phase on the night shift. The whole point is that the animatronics (robot dolls that entertain the visitors of this pizzeria) are trying, without realizing it, to kill the guard. Each animatronic consists of two parts: an endoskeleton (a skeleton with muscles and a brain) and a skeleton (skin). The rules of Freddy Phase's Pizzeria state that endoskeletons without a frame are not allowed in the pizzeria. So, during the day, animatronics consider a crowd of people to be people, and a lonely person at night is considered an endoskeleton without a frame. The guard (the main character) might have survived if it wasn't too crowded in the frame. A person cannot fit into the frame, so the animatronics forcibly try to shove the ENTIRE person into the frame. The victim becomes a mutilated piece of minced meat. It is pointless to use force against animatronics, since they are larger than a person and weigh more than a person.

Now about history. A security guard must work five days on the night shift in order to be paid for his work. Every night, a dictaphone recording of a person who worked as a security guard before the protagonist is turned on. He reports that in 1987 there is an incident with one of the animatronics and a visitor to the pizzeria. The animatronic bit through the frontal lobe of a person, after which the number of visitors sharply decreased and Freddy Phase's pizzeria began to experience financial problems. There was so little money that the management of the pizzeria decided to save electricity.

Now about the animatronics. The animatronics have a system where their moving springs are blocked if they remain stationary for a long time, so they are left on at night. It was easier for a pizzeria to hire a security guard than to hire a specialist who could fix the animatronics. A security guard was needed, and Mike Schmidt responded to an ad in the newspaper, who decided to work as a night watchman at Freddy Faza's pizzeria. The man on the voice recorder explains that the animatronics are capable of killing a person, so the protagonist needs to be careful. On the fourth night, the human recording is interrupted by the animatronic's scream. From this we can conclude that the previous guard died. Main character safely survives, receives money for five nights, then still earns money on the sixth night and he is fired on the seventh night.

This is where the story ends. However, the pizzeria has a secret history that can be discovered if you explore the pizzeria a little more carefully. In one of the rooms (or corridors) there is a poster saying that children are disappearing in the pizzeria.

The mystery is that the inscription on the poster can change. The poster says that five children were killed by a man who dressed up as an animatronic (how did he get in there?). The police found the perpetrator, but did not find the bodies of the children. Later, visitors to the pizzeria began to notice that the animatronics began to smell terribly, and a liquid very similar to blood began to flow from the eye holes. The US Department of Health has noticed violations of sanitary standards. The pizzeria is in danger of closing. As a result, the management of the pizzeria could not find a buyer and the pizzeria had to be closed for a while.

Now let's talk about Five Nights at Freddy's 2. The fans of the game were very happy that the sequel to the first part would be released. They thought so. In fact, Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a prequel and without careful study of the facts, it seems that the second part it's still a sequel.

In the second part, everything starts in the same way as in the first part. Jeremy Fizgerald gets a job as a security guard. One of the employees of the pizzeria contacts him by phone every night and also says that the work is associated with the risk of dying at the hands of animatronics, who also see an endoskeleton without a frame in the guard. To protect themselves from the animatronics, the guard, just in case, is given a Freddy mask. On the fourth night, the phone guy reveals that some sort of investigation is ongoing into the pizzeria and that Fazbear Entertainment is in full denial. Someone hacks the animatronics' facial recognition system, after which the animatronics are friendly to children (as before), but react hostilely to adults. Just because animatronics aren't programmed to kill humans doesn't mean they can't. On the fifth night, the phone guy reports that the pizzeria is in isolation, and someone needs to guard the pizzeria. On the sixth night, the phone guy informs that the pizzeria is closing for a while. Someone used a spare yellow suit in a wing of the building.

This is where the story ends, but look at the check date at the end of the fifth night.

1987 It is the year that is mentioned in the first part. In the second part of the game, there is no mention of Incident 87 anywhere, so the question arises: is the second part of the game a sequel or a prequel?

Evidence that Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is a prequel

1. The phone guy in the second part has the same voice as the voice recorder in the first part. In the first part, he presumably dies, and in the second part he says that after that week he himself will work out the job of a security guard. This is the same person.

2. The date on the check is 11-12-1987, and the next check after the sixth night is dated 11-13-1987. The date on the checks is put like this: month-day-year. By the way, November 13, 1987, falls on a Friday, which is why the sixth night is so difficult. Incident 87 is never mentioned in the game.

3. In the first part, it is explained that the animatronics cannot walk on their own during the day (only at night) after Incident 87, while in the second part, they can walk all the time.

4. The previous cafe was called "Freddy's Family Dinner", while in the first part, the main character works at "Freddy's Pizza Phase"

5. The phone guy tells Jeremy Fizgerald that before Jeremy, there was another guard who was transferred to the day shift. He either worked at the same pizzeria where Jeremy works or at Freddie's Family Dinner.

6. There is a version that incident 87 occurred the day after the seventh night. The phone guy on the sixth night says that "...we have another event scheduled for tomorrow, the birthday. You'll be wearing your uniform on the day shift around the animatronics. Make sure they don't offend anyone, okay? ". This version immediately disappears after the end of the sixth night, however, another version follows from this: the newspaper says next to the receipt that the pizzeria closes a week after opening, and the new animatronics will be taken apart for parts. The head of Fazbear Entertainment reveals that they will reopen the pizzeria someday, only on a smaller budget. In the first part of the pizzeria, there was just not enough money, so the management had to save electricity.

7. If the game is a sequel, then the old animatronics are the animatronics from the first part of the game. But the old animatronics appearance different from the animatronics from the first part.

Example: compare the bear from the first part with the bear from the second.

8. There is a possibility that after death, a mini-game will start in which you need to control the animatronic. The style of the game is a bit similar to games for Atari 2600. After a certain interval, a distorted voice announces letters from which you can make the words "save them" (save them), "save him" (save him), "help them" (help them). When playing as a puppet, you first need to distribute gifts to the children, and then put them in the animatronic frame.

At the top will be written "give life" (give life). It is known that five children disappeared in the pizzeria. In that mini-game, it becomes clear that four children are killed by a puppet, but where did the fifth go? In the other three mini-games, a purple human silhouette appears.

In one mini-game, where, playing as Freddy, you need to distribute some kind of cake to the children, after a while a purple car arrives to the crying child. From there, a purple man climbs out and makes the crying child gray and motionless. This means that the child is dead. In another mini-game, where you also need to control Freddy, a purple man appears in the path chasing a puppet, after which the inscription "you can" t "appears in the corner of the screen. In the third mini-game, you need to control Foxy and run to the kids to presumably entertain them.On the third run, the purple man reappears in the corner, and offstage there are five corpses.

Evidence that Five Nights at Freddy's 2 could be a sequel

1. There is a logical error when the check says that it was issued in November, but the phone guy says that the job is summer. From this, a version appears that the check may have a mistake in writing the date, maybe even the year is written incorrectly. However, this may also be the fault of the game developer himself.

2. On the first night, the phone guy says that "Some people are still suspicious of the company." This may be an allusion to Pizza Freddy Phase, where the protagonist worked in the first part of the game.

3. Also a reference to the pizzeria from the first part is the phone guy saying "...you may have noticed that there are no doors to close".

Interesting facts not related to the plot

1. In the full cry of the animatronics, there is an extraneous voice saying the word "freedom" (freedom). The animatronic's scream itself is a distorted human scream.

2. This is what the puppet model looks like.

3. The main character can hallucinate.

4. Chick's beak disappears as you move towards the guard.

Well, this is the end of my blog, I have said almost everything there is to say about this game. The phone guy's words are translated from English into Russian. For those who have not played these games, they will not immediately understand what this blog is about.
