New operation in cs go. New Operation "Turning Tides" in CS:GO New map of the Forbidden Zone

I think many of us are interested in the question: when will the new operation in CS:GO be released? More than four months have passed since the end of Operation Wildfire. Approximately the same amount of time has passed since the closing of the Bloodhound. This is a very sad trend, because the breaks between the first three operations in Global Offensive were not even three weeks. But is everything so bad?

Recent Operations

Let's remember the last two operations. The number of missions the company itself was declining. But the appearance of new cards, heaps of cool skins justified the invested 6 dollars. Speaking of "Bloodhound", so the game was significantly freed from bugs, the ranking system was changed.

In Wildfire, the emphasis was on cards, where the main thing for me was a remake of Nuke. I was also very pleased with the operation case itself with 16 skins and one new knife. An interesting innovation was the campaign for several people - "Gemini". The 6 dollars spent on each of the operations justified themselves.

Let's return to the main topic of this article. It is difficult to say when the new operation will be released. The developers are delaying, preparing something global. My, one might say, prediction is the first half of January. In support of my prediction, we can assume good online players. During holidays and weekends, the majority of the gaming audience will have.

Also, By this time, it is quite possible to bring all kinds of solutions to the ideal. And fix some bugs edit or even draw new cards. Most of all I expect new skins and the campaign itself, Valve has not let me down with this yet. In addition, the time of operations with each time increases. H This allows more players to buy the key.

The concept for the new CS:GO operation was created by Tibor Miklos, the graphic designer who previously created Operation Blacksun. The concept of the new CS GO operation includes new maps, skins, updates for restricted area and even new Game Mode CS:GO.

While it looks like the CS:GO developers are more interested in creating standalone updates rather than another operation, Miklos offers a compelling concept. This is what Operation Turning Tides will look like

New CS:GO Operation Maps – Breach, Tangerine, Alley

There are plenty of new maps that Valve could choose from for their next operation. The Turning Tides concept from Miklos includes new maps Biome and Subzero, as well as Breach, Tangerine, Grind and Alley.

The concept also introduces several possible skins for the case of the new CS:GO operation. Here is what is listed among them.

The operation will also include the Tiger Shark knife.

new CS GO knife design from Helenek, Old Man and Puffin. All this can be a worthy addition to the new CS: GO operation.

New map of the Forbidden Zone

Miklos also included new additions to the Danger Zone in his concept. Operation "Turning Tides" will include a new danger zone map - Insertion 2 from Oskmos.

Along with a campaign that includes missions for the Danger Zone, a perfect post-Danger Zone operation would be created.

New CS:GO game mode - Robbery

The concept of Operation Turning Tides also includes a new game mode - Robbery. This 5v5 game mode will feature teams attempting to pull off a bank robbery, blow up a vault, and steal money with them.

The new game mode will also include the classic Counter-Strike 1.6-era shield and heavy armor set.

On the night of May 23-24, a series of game events "Operation Hydra" started. Let's figure out what Valve added this, because of which you have to score a job in the middle of the week and get a stash.

Campaign and coin

For 365 rubles, Valve provides full access to the operation. Users will be able to play the Guardian Mission campaign. It consists of 30 tasks that can be completed as many times as you like.

In addition, players will have access to live ammunition, a new case, a special Operation Hydra Challenge coin that can be upgraded to a diamond level, as well as a journal with statistics and a table of results among friends.

Game Modes

Three free modes (Hydra Events) have appeared in CS:GO, which in no way depend on the purchase of a new operation. They will change every week.

war games. The mode consists of six other sub-modes. The first is heavy assault equipment. Everything is the same as in regular game, only with new armor, which you should try. Bought in the shop menu during the match.

Headshots. Arena Deathmatch, where the main condition for victory is a hit in the head.

Hunter-gatherers. You need to kill opponents, pick up tokens from them and not die yourself. The actions of each player bring points to the team's piggy bank. Whoever has the most wins.

Stab Stab Zap. A knife, a Zeus stun gun and grenades of your choice are all you have. Learn how to win beautifully with little money.

Flying sniper. Low gravity, SSG08 rifle and knife. Another mode for pumping sniper skills.

Discipline training. Each miss is punished - the character takes damage. In this mode, you need to shoot accurately and without errors. When you feel that everything is easy, make the game more difficult for your opponents.

Wingman. Competitive match 2 on 2 on maps with single bombs for 16 rounds. The game uses a special group of Wingman skills.

weapons expert. Once you purchase a weapon, you cannot purchase it again until the end of the match. The mode is designed to play 5v5 for 30 rounds with a special group of Weapons Expert skills.

Cards

Four new maps and three community-created maps: Austria, Shipped, Lite, Thrill, Agency, Insertion, Black Gold. All of them are available when searching for matches in both regular and competitive modes.

"Sopov, give me a case"

The new operation will add a case with 17 skins for weapons. Players have already drooled over Oni Taiji for AWP, Hyper Beast for Five-SeveN, Hellfire for M4A1, Sugar Rush for Galil AR and more. But most of them criticized the set.

In the Counter-Strike community, Operations is like a gift from above. But what are Operations? If you're new to the community or just want more information, let me show you the amazing world of Operations.
Operations in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a kind of DLC for the game. Operations brought a lot of different things to the game, such as skins, maps, and a simple storyline. With the DLC, players also receive a "Coin" in their CS:GO inventory, the coin indicates that you have purchased and played the Operation. The coin comes in a standard and dull bronze color, but you can upgrade to a medium silver or a completed gold. There are different things that come with the coin update and this was introduced from the first operation we will look at right now.

Operation Payback

The first Operation was introduced on April 25, 2013. The operation was called Payback - Payback. For $5.99/£3.99/€5.19 you got everything the Operation contained, but this Operation was Operation Skin and Bones as it only contained cards. If a pass was purchased, the player was surprised to find the coin in their profile. Keep in mind that this was before the Arms Deal update, so the inventory didn't exist yet. With this coin, levels were updated simply by playing maps that were in Operation. After 10 hours of play, the coin turned silver, and after 50 hours it turned gold, which gave it a beautiful shiny appearance on the player's profile. Because the Operation was released before the release of the Competitive Play update, players were required to spend those hours playing in the "Classic Casual" game mode, now known as Casual. Seven maps were introduced in the Operation, four of them with hostages and three with a bomb.
As noted earlier, this Operation was introduced prior to the Arms Deal update, so no skins were introduced into the Operation. Oddly enough, the Operation brought in $150,000, all of which went to reward the creators of the maps that featured in the Operation. After 4 months of fun and interesting cards, The operation ended on August 31, 2013. Before the end of the Operation, the "Arms Deal" update was introduced, introducing 13 weapon skins and the M4A1-S and USP-S.

Operation Bravo / Operation Bravo

Quite quickly, the second Operation was introduced. Operation Bravo launched on September 19, 2013. At the same price as Reckoning, this Operation was quite affordable and much larger than the previous one. Since the Arms Deal update was released before Bravo, this Operation introduced new and tasty features that weren't in Payback. Once again, the player received a coin, but this time it was transferred to the inventory and could choose which Operation coin to show on their profile if Operation Payback was previously purchased. This coin was different than the previous one. After the "Competitive" update, you had to play 30 hours in "Normal" mode on Operation maps, and to upgrade the coin to gold win 15 Competitive Games on Operation cards.
Two weapon collections, the Alpha Collection and the Bravo Collection, were released as part of the update. If the Operation was purchased, the player was eligible to receive weapon drops from the Alpha Collection simply by playing the games, and all players received Bravo Cases, which required the purchase of a key to open in order to receive a random weapon skin. Seven maps were reintroduced as part of the Operation, where players could play Deathmatch, Casual, and Competitive modes. On December 18, two more cards "Cobblestone" and "Overpass" were added to the map pool. 4 months after the release, Valve decided to end the operation on January 20, but after a protest from the community, this date was moved to February 5, giving another two weeks to enjoy the maps.

Operation Phoenix

"Phoenix" became the third Operation, released just two weeks after the completion of the previous one - on February 20th. One of the highlights of this Operation was that the eight cards presented were from previous Operations. Valve gave the community the opportunity to choose which maps they like the most. The community held a poll to select eight cards to be included in the Operation. This Operation was the cheapest at $2.99/£2.15/€2.75. Otherwise, the Operation was the same as the previous one, the actions with the coin and the requirements for improvement were the same as in "Bravo". A new collection of weapons was also introduced, eponymous with the Operation. Operation cases could only be received by Operation owners until the end of the operation on June 11, 2014.

Operation Breakout / Operation Breakout

On July 1, 2014, Operation Breakthrough was released. A huge difference from the previous Operation was the introduction of missions. The purpose of the mission is the fulfillment of a certain game task, which can be in any of the available game modes. Upon completion of a mission, the player would receive a weapon skin from the corresponding mission's collection. Three collections of Cobblestone, Overpass and Baggage were available to players, from which skins fell out after completing the mission. The AWP “Dragon Lore” skin from the Cobblestone collection is still one of the rarest skins in the game. To upgrade the coin to gold, it was necessary to complete 15 Operation missions. Missions became available on a weekly basis, but if the player had a reserve, they could complete more missions.

Operation Vanguard / Operation Vanguard

Operation Vanguard came into play on November 11, 2014, a month after the completion of Breakthrough. The missions remained the same as before, but the rules have changed, in order to improve the coin, the player had to collect stars. You could get stars by completing a chain of missions, something like a "campaign". After completing a chain of missions, the player received a certain number of stars, depending on the difficulty. An easy "campaign" gave one star, a difficult three. After receiving four stars, the player's coin improved to gold. For $5.99/£3.99/€5.19 the player received an Operation coin and two campaigns, and for an additional $2.99/£2/€2.39 the player could purchase one of the two additional campaigns. The Operation featured 6 maps, followed by the addition of a refreshed and updated Train. The Avangard collection was also presented with the case of the same name, which fell out during the game. Operation Vanguard followed the same path as Breakthrough, after completing a mission, the player received one of the weapon skins as rewards.

Operation Bloodhound / Operation Bloodhound

Bloodhound was released on May 26, 2015. As in previous Operations, eight cards were presented, two of which are the most popular cards previous Operations. With a system similar to Vanguard, players had to complete chains of missions in order to get gold coins. It was a little more difficult than before, now you need to get 14 stars to upgrade the coin to gold. The skin drop system has completely changed compared to previous Operations. This time, Valve introduced new system level up based on experience gained (XP). After earning a certain amount of XP, the rank goes up, and along with the first rank up of the week, the player gets a weapon skin. After reaching rank 40, the player can receive a service medal and reset the rank to the first.

Players who purchased the Operation Pass were eligible to receive skins from the Operation collection. As part of the update, two new collections ‘Gods and Monsters’ and ‘Chop Shop’ were added, which included new unique skins and a rare skin for the AWP ‘Medusa’. Two campaigns became available immediately, without the need for an additional purchase. With these two campaigns came the story of the Counter-Strike universe, which players unlocked as they completed missions. The operation ended on October 1, making this Operation the only one of 2015.

Operation Wildfire

After three months of waiting, the community is calling for a new Operation. Then, on February 17, 2016, Valve responded with Operation Wildfire. The operation is structurally similar to the Bloodhound. The missions continue the story of the old Operation, what each mission means to the Counter-Strike universe. The Gemini Campaign consists exclusively of cooperative game. The maps in this campaign continue the story of the Phoenix and are made up of the enemies of that story. With the new co-op maps and stories comes two new campaign-only items. Medi-shot is a medical syringe that restores 50 HP and 'Tactical Awareness Grenade' which, when thrown, briefly indicates the location of opponents and highlights their silhouettes, including through obstacles. The Operation features seven community-voted maps, with the return of the revamped "Nuke" map being the eighth hit. The map has been given a fresh look, a new feel with new textures and varied, balanced gameplay.

Of course new coin came with the operation. Similar to the Bloodhounds, you must earn stars by completing a chain of quests in order to upgrade a coin to gold. To get a gold coin, you need to get 14 stars. As mentioned above, the Gemini campaign is exclusively cooperative, but the Wildfire campaign consists of chains of missions with tasks in various game modes, with the exception of Competitive. Also appeared "Mission Blitz" giving nice bonus xp. In these missions, players fight in Competitive Mode on various maps Operations and gain additional experience for each round won. No new weapon collections were introduced, but the operation's exclusive collection included six existing weapon collections.
Operation Wildfire will end on June 17, 2016.

Operation Hydra

Operation Hydra introduces all new Hydra Events modes - 2v2 competitive mode, 5v5 mode that requires extensive weapon knowledge and every turn to classic cards, allows you to play with special heavy armor, low gravity, team deathmatch, knife and Zeus - and much more. Operation Hydra has many new and returning community maps available for casual and competitive modes, as well as the full Mission Guardian campaign. Operation coin can be upgraded to new level: DIAMOND. The operation includes a magazine with a rating of friends, the ability to get additional XP (experience). The operation drops weapons and all new skins Hydra Case ! Full list features:

  • WAR GAMES: Modified classic game mode with heavy armor, low gravity, team deathmatch, and so on.
