To create this book, you will need: a magic wand, 3 pieces of leather, 6 wooden planks, 9 pieces of cane.

2. We install, in any place, a bookshelf and click on it with the right mouse button with a magic wand in hand.

Creating a table for research

With the help of the research table, you can open crafting recipes, new, powerful things. To craft it, you will need: 6 wooden plates, 4 planks, a glass vial, ink and a pen.

1. We make a table and install it.

2. We create an inkwell and place it on the table.

After all done, you will be able to enter the table interface by pressing the right mouse button.

Create a mystical workbench

In order to create a mystical workbench, it is enough to install a single table that we crafted earlier and right-click on it with a magic wand.

I'm just keeping a promise.

The mod has recently been updated. Thaumcraft 6, the core of all servers with magical slope. As the fifth part existed, various updates were released from time to time, thereby saturating this modification with additional content. Thaumcraft 6, in turn, serves only as a rethinking of its predecessor, and starts from the version Minecraft 1.10.2.

I rummaged through a lot of sites, but I did not find a text description of this mod, even on the minecraft wiki, as a result of which I concocted a small guide-introduction, according to the existing changes.

The author of the modification (aka Azanor) rewrote the code from a blank page. Remarkably, the mechanisms remained the same, but the mechanics of the game itself turned upside down somewhat, which becomes noticeable from the very beginning of the game. The main change in this part, I would probably note no magic wand(yes, my young fairies, the wand was completely cut out of the game, alas). It will be replaced by the caster's glove, but more on that later Where to start and how in this case to get an elementary taunomicon?

To begin with, you should arm yourself with a ̶r̶a̶g̶a̶l̶i̶k̶o̶m̶ ̶n̶a̶ ̶d̶r̶a̶n̶i̶k̶e̶ pickaxe, go to the mine, and find the treasured vis crystals. In this version they look like this:

Waking up in the morning, you have a book in which, being in a trance, you wrote down your strange dream so as not to forget it, as evidenced by the following inscription:

We open our "diary of a young psychonaut", in which (if it's kratz) it says that you should mix three different crystals (any), silicon, redstone, and ... a bowl. Yes, from which you scoop mushroom stew. We place the above ingredients in any form on a vanilla workbench, and we get salis mundus(dust, magic). After crafting, our silicon is returned to us, and a plate (you can brew a whip in it).

Next, we spray dust (sorry for the cacophony) over the bookshelf, and we get the well-known taunomicon, a kind of bible for magicians. Repeating the same manipulations with the vanilla workbench, we get its analogue, only magical. In the taunomicon, there is a familiar "quest chain" for everyone, but in a slightly different form:


From the picture above, we see that we need to craft a taunometer, you can see its recipe by clicking on the "bookmark" to the right of the book. It is worth noting that crafting uses energy in and, which in version 6 of the mod is no longer divided into types, unlike the same ore, and is taken from what is called "from the ceiling". This energy serves as a kind of abstract substance that hovers in each chunk, but in each chunk its amount is limited (over time, the chunk restores its amount in and, at the expense of neighboring ones). In crafting, this mechanic looks like this:


Required quantity indicated in white font in and for crafting, blue - just hovering in the atmosphere (you no longer have to ̶s̶ ̶g̶o̶l̶o̶y̶ ̶z̶a̶d̶n̶i̶ts̶e̶y̶ in leather armor to roam headlong all over the map in search of nodes, to charge the wand).

Having crafted a taunometer, we study everything around (as in the 5th version of the mod), receiving various knowledge points for this. In this version of the modification, there are three types of knowledge that, ideally, you need to curb everything:

1. Observation (Obtained by exploring the world with a taunometer)
2. Theories (Obtained as you discover research on the table of the same name)
3. Epiphany (It turns out randomly, with any activity in the world of taumcraft, a kind of "crit").

As for the research table, it's complete rubbish. At least for players who do not speak English at all. The research table interface looks like this:

First, click on the green button Create theory under marker 1 . And we start studying. Under marker 2, you have an available number of ideas, which can be increased by placing magic cauldron, workbenches, and bookshelves next to the research table. The number of lights will tell us how many "attempts / steps" are left when studying a particular study (along the way of further study taunomicon, the number of bulbs increases). The third marker (3) is our bonus, which, when activated, "eats" a certain number of light bulbs, but gives a certain advantage (in practice, we will consider it later). We press the green key, after which we see a stack of sheets with a question mark in front of us. The study itself is opened, the paths of which will branch out as this study progresses, and everyone chooses the most optimal for himself. Yes, everything is purely individual here, but here you will need at least some kind of representation in the language of the western lands, details in the screenshot below:

After that the matrix is ​​ready. But she doesn't spin. We click on it again, but already gauntlet of the caster, and (c) "it's still spinning!".

Basically, everything. Later I will write about the main mechanics of the game, such as: the creation of caps, golems, and the decomposition of matter into aspects, because the topic will be too cumbersome.

In any case, this server will not open so soon. However, based on statistics, I think it can be expected immediately after industrial but again, just speculation.

So, for most players, the main disadvantage of this version of the mod is to adapt to English language, because here it will need a little more than in the previous part. And so the choice is: "tighten your brains and adapt", or "leave it as it is", because "it used to be better." An equally interesting question is "who is this choice before?". Anyway. Let's hope for the opening Magic RPG, some amateurs, crack all the same concoct.
