Great mouse with comfortable ergonomics. Experience of use - already more than 6 months. Nice rubberized velvet surface. Fingers and palm lie like a glove. Even the little finger does not fall off. The back and forth keys and double/triple shot (for gamers) are conveniently located. It is worth noting energy saving. Illumination is good, but it is a decor, often not needed. Therefore, you can turn it off. When used for 5-6 hours during operation, it keeps the battery charge (Duracell) up to 1.5 months or more. I use it at work and at home for gaming. An excellent and convenient solution for a gamer - a workaholic.

One of our editors suggested we title this review "A wide mouse with a wide range of features." There is something in this, but let's not deviate from tradition: let the review remain a review. Our hero is the Trust GXT155W, a wired gaming mouse with some very interesting features.

First, a little about the technical side of the device. For those who understand what dpi and other accelerations are, we will give the main characteristics, for everyone else, we note that this is a gaming mouse - with the appropriate parameters that allow you to play comfortably and at a professional level.

Shape and colors

In a nicely made white box, we found, as you already know, a white mouse. With a slightly gray "back", that is, a gray camouflage pattern on the surface. A great option for those who are looking for originality and not quite suitable for those who like to eat french fries or chips at the game. In principle, plastic is easy to clean, but it is better not to stain it initially.

You can talk a lot about the optimal shape of computer mice, but you still won’t be able to find the ideal. Some people like more compact cases, others - more massive and curvaceous. Our mouse is just one of the latest. The tides on the sides allow you to put your entire palm on the manipulator - so it will not touch the mat at all. Accordingly, mouse movements will be smoother and easier. The body plastic is not glossy - on the contrary, it is slightly rough, pleasant to the touch.

11 keys for all occasions

One of the most interesting features mice are 11 customizable keys. In addition to the standard on the top panel, there are five more on the left side, under the thumb. This range is sure to please fans. MOBA games or MMO - in order to get the desired skill from the hero, you do not need to distract the fingers of the left hand that control movement. For more simple games usually two or three is enough - in any case, finding them with the right hand on the mouse is much easier than poking at the keyboard with the left.

Most importantly, all of these keys are customizable. Of course, with the help of special software, which is available for download on the manufacturer's website. It should be noted that the range of functions is quite wide - here is the duplication of single keystrokes on the keyboard, and the creation of original combinations, and the recording of macros ... If the key is not needed, you can simply turn it off - we highly recommend doing this, because otherwise sooner or later you will definitely poke at the crucial moment this “unnecessary” key, to which something is assigned.

But the best thing is the ability to save user profiles. Let's say if you play several games and each time, in a good way, you need new functions on the buttons - just save different profiles and quickly switch between them. By the way, although the Trust GXT155W is a gaming mouse, no one forbids using it for other purposes. For example, one of the profiles can be purely “working”: if you are an ordinary office manager during the day, and a dashing bender in the evenings, just create another profile where additional buttons make it easier to work with office programs. Let's say one copies the selected text, the other pastes it, the third changes the font.

Backlight: customizable

Like any gaming device, Trust GXT155W has a backlight. The wheel is mainly lit, indicators of the set resolution of the sensor - there are two more narrow strips closer to the wrist. By default, they are highlighted with a pleasant pulsating blue light, but the color can be changed - in the same place, in the settings. Suddenly, your keys on your laptop are lit red or the system unit sparkles green after modding? Disorder…

Harder or lighter?

A good mouse is a customizable mouse. As we have already seen, the Trust GXT155W has a very wide range of settings. But we haven't covered all of them yet. At the bottom of this mouse there is an "organizer" for weights - these small steel cylinders, with which you can choose the optimal weight for the mouse. It is believed that a too light mouse body provokes sharp and inaccurate movements, while a little extra weight allows you to move the manipulator more smoothly: this is important, for example, to aim more accurately.

Our CV

No, we won't recommend this mouse to everyone - it's still quite specific and created for those gamers who really need additional keys, high movement speed and different settings. However, our experience shows that the Trust GXT155W is essentially an all-in-one device: of course, it’s nice to play Dota with it, but you can absolutely safely work with Word or 1C. And if you are looking for a mouse for a family desktop computer with user levels ranging from "Fixies cartoon lover" to "CS:GO authority" - such a versatile option is just made for you.

I bought it on sale in MediaMarkt for 400 rubles. I am extremely satisfied with the price-quality ratio. Perfect for FPS shooters. For them, screen resolution is more important than an expensive mouse.

Advantages

Low price, pleasant to the touch material, more or less accuracy, there is a switchable number of DPI (for large monitors).

Flaws

A year later, the buttons began to backlash, after a certain number of falls from the table. The double-click button is not very conveniently located. Only one side button works from the box, you need to look for drivers. Ideally works with a laptop (preferably with a carpet), but with a desktop PC, the cursor may lag. The mouse is very cool. Good accuracy, does not lose touch. It is positioned as a gaming and, in principle, can be considered as such. I tried to play it in CS:Source and, although I was still not used to the form, it turned out quite well to kill enemies. Although, for games I have other mice: Logitech and Razer. I took this mouse just for a laptop for work. Because non-gaming laptop mice work just awful: they constantly hang on any surfaces due to a crooked sensor. Plus, they often call very loudly. This, in principle, is also not to say that it is quiet, but normal. Butthurt does not call.

Flaws

The disadvantage of this mouse is 3: 1. This mouse goes to sleep pretty quickly. 5 minutes of idle time and the mouse falls asleep. To wake her from sleep, you need to press the button. Moreover, this pressing will not only wake up the mouse, but will also be transferred to the computer. So if you hovered over the delete confirmation button, there is a risk of clicking "Yes" at the moment of waking up. 2. There is no normal container for the USB module. More precisely, it is, but for this you need to remove the cover under which the battery is located. And in order to get this module out of the mouse later, you need to remove the battery, or have tweezers on hand. 3. This mouse broke after 5 months. More precisely, the right mouse button stopped working. At the same time, the right button is pressed, clicks, visually and aurally there are no changes. The problem is probably somewhere in the contact. But, fortunately, the warranty for this mouse is 36 months.

I liked the GXT 130 so much that I decided to buy this model for testing. A very good product, even better than the older model, suitable for normal surfing due to its lower weight, but not suitable for very dynamic games due to the relatively low sensor polling rate and still small cursor lag present.
